Host could not honor reservation on day of check in

Host did not honor the reservation. Host informed me of the cancellation 30 min prior to check in knowing I was flying into town from another state. Host was rude and unprofessional and tried to encourage me to choose another of his properties from his own private site. Once I informed him I wanted a refund he has only made that process more difficult. I’m currently awaiting a refund through VRBO that may take up to several weeks. The host also continued to send harassing text messages to me once we decided to not to move forward with him. That message was reported to VRBO. I would not recommend this host or his private site RTBNB.com for business. I will also follow up with a complaint with the BBB.
