About this property

In the Heart of the Northwoods

Completely remodeled quarters for your Northwood Vacation, in the heart of Langlade County, across from the golf course and close to many lakes. This is an upstairs unit with private entrance, sleeps 4 with a queen bedroom and full size excellent quality futon in living room.
( Bedding provided) Full kitchen including free coffee. Bathroom with shower, included towels. Ample parking for your trailers. Private entry above a country store open 4 days a week. This is a no smoking rental. We are on the atv/utv trail and the snowmobile trails. There are many excellent restaurants near by or everything you need to cook your own meals.

The property was very convenient for us during our stay. Check-in was easy and the place was very clean. The air conditioner did not work our first night, but the host got it replaced the very next day. Their quick attention to this was really appreciated.

Convenient location on a main road. Near several good restaurants and above a small ice cream shop!We were there when it was very hot (beginning of July). The air conditioning could not handle the heat so it was very warm as the apartment is upstairs.

We're sorry the apartment wasn't as comfortable as it should have been during your stay. Your visit happened during an exceptionally hot stretch of weather, and unfortunately the air conditioner struggled to keep up with the extreme temperatures. We wish we had known during your stay that it wasn't cooling adequately, as we would have done everything we could to address it right away. After our next guests also reported that the air conditioner wasn't working properly, we replaced the unit during their stay to ensure future guests are comfortable. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope you'll consider visiting again in the future.

We had such a great stay at this adorable cabin above Pike 55. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly what we were hoping for. We have stayed here in the past and were visiting family in Pickerel. We spent a lot of time at Campfire Bar and Grille so this was such a convenient spot to stay and perfect for what we needed it for!

Great little place

We enjoy staying right in Pickerel. It’s close to many lakes and local establishments. We could walk to a couple, and be to others in less than ten minutes.

Quiet and Quaint

This is our 2nd time visiting this location so we’ll definitely be back. We love this location as it’s close enough to many restaurants, site seeing and lakes. The host is amazing and responds to messages promptly.

Everything you need!

Perfect place to stay and relax. I rested there the night before a race and recovered there the night after. Way better than any hotel options within driving distance. I’ll be returning there next year.

Perfect location

Great location right in Pickerel! Can grab breakfast across the street. Walk to golf course. Get snacks at gas station. Ice cream at shop downstairs!
