Casa Nueva is located in the tree-studded hills of Vista Encantada, off of Bishop’s Lodge Rd. This gorgeous, custom, pueblo style home is just minutes from the Historic Plaza, Canyon Road, and a short 25 min drive to the Santa Fe Ski Basin. This warm and inviting property features high vaulted cedarwood ceilings, two gas fireplaces and an outdoor spa and sauna to enjoy in the cold months.
The property consists of the Main quarters and attached Guests quarters, creating maximum flexibility for living arrangements (please see layout plan in pictures). The Main quarters consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the Guest quarters offer one large bedroom, one gym/office/loft, a separate kitchen, bathroom and a small living room.

LIVING / DINING
The living room is surrounded by large windows with wood shutters, for maximum sun exposure so you can enjoy sunrise and sunset light to the fullest. Lovely gas fireplace is easy to use and gives off ample warmth. Has a large smart TV with Netflix, HBO, Direct TV Stream. This is an ideal setting to relax with your group in comfort. The dining space opens up into the living area, the table extends to seat up to 10.

KITCHEN
The gourmet kitchen is perfect for a discerning home chef, featuring stone countertops and cherrywood cabinets. It is fully stocked with everything you might need to make and serve a beautiful meal.

MAIN HOUSE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
- The house is set up to sleep up to 8 adults and 2 kids very comfortably.
- Primary suite with an attached bathroom and walk-in closet. French doors lead out onto the portal with a sauna. King bed and twin daybed with trundle, sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids. Has a smart TV with Netflix, HBO, Direct TV Stream.
- Both guest bedrooms are the same size and are right next to each other. Both with queen beds. Hallway guest bathroom serves both bedrooms.

GUEST HOUSE
- Guest house is attached to the main house and the bedroom has two doors - one leading into the main house and one leading into the guest house living area. Both doors lock from inside the bedroom for complete privacy.
- The bedroom contains a king bed. Guest house bathroom is right next to the bedroom.
- The living room has a gas fireplace/cast iron stove, and a smart TV with Netflix, HBO, Direct TV Stream.
- Kitchenette contains a fridge, stove, microwave and has most of the essentials needed to make coffee in the morning or a snack during the day.
- The loft is set up with some exersise equipment and a small desk to get some work done if needed.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Casa Nueva has two covered portals with a Traeger grill, a dry sauna and a built-in hot tub that fits 4 people.

HEATING / AC

- Baseboard heating throughout the house. Two of the bathrooms contain ceiling heat fans right outside the shower for maximum comfort.
- Mini split AC's in the living room, primary bedroom, and guest house.

Wonderful Home

We had a wonderful stay here! It really is as picturesque as it looks! So much space and such a comfortable environment all the way around. Galina was extremely warm and responsive and generously offered us a late check-out which was helpful because once you arrive you likely won't want to leave.

Perfect house

This house was one the best we have ever stayed in. The location is great, there is a lot of room for everyone (we had a family of 5 adults). The kitchen and everything in it was amazing!!

Hidden Gem

I’ve stayed at a few VRBOs in the past and this place ranks in the top! We are from Texas and stayed here for a Santa Fe Ski getaway weekend. 2 couples plus kids from ages 10-18. Beautiful house, great layout, and Very easy access to the ski mountain as well as the town area. We are picky people and often bring our own bedspreads to sleep, however, we didn’t have to use our own sheets for this house. We actually slept on their sheets! Bed comfort and bedding, A+. This house passes our Cleanliness inspection. Amenities were awesome and they really thought of all the smaller details. Fully equipped kitchen. Tea kettles, coffee makers, bakeware, salad bowls and enough dishes and coffee mugs and drink cups to use. Only thing I would say is put some of the more regularly use items on top shelves (I didn’t know they had cutting boards and didn’t find table mats until mid stay.) There is also an easy to use grill as well. Restrooms are clean. I’ve always prefer floor bath towels over the bathroom rugs but I have yet to stay at a VRBO that has the floor bath towels. Some of the other VRBOs just don’t have any, which I actually prefer. I would just say nix the bathroom rugs. Showers had plenty of hot water for everyone. They had an exercise area which was great for stretching pre and post ski. It’s not clear in the photos on the website, but they have an awesome covered outdoor jacuzzi and sauna . Overall, A++ VRBO.

Great Santa Fe Getaway!

Beautiful property with a ton of space and everything we needed. Even saw what looked like a pack of mule deer from the back patio. Will definitely come back!
