Stunning, Luxe single family heated pool home in a quiet residential neighborhood, just 5 minutes from Wilton Manors. Open floor plan, perfectly furnished, with fully equipped kitchen for making great meals and entertaining. Large, smart TVs in every bedroom.
10 mins to Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The backyard is perfect! It's truly an amazing, private space for relaxing. There is a BBQ grill, great lounging outdoor furniture and a beautiful pool. The home is completely private, so guests have access to all of the home and its amenities. While Fort Lauderdale's transportation system is maturing, it's still not a walkable city. You should rent a car, or use Uber to get around.

Oakland Park is one of the largest neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale, only 10 minutes away from the beach and adjacent to Wilton Manors, the entertainment mecca of Fort Lauderdale with many cool bars and restaurants. Wilton Manors is also the LGBTQ center of Broward.

Pool heat is available at $40/day pool heat fee for the duration of your stay. Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival because it takes that long for pool to heat up.

TVs in this property are smart so you'll be able to log into your favorite streaming apps including those for broadcast TV. There is no cable TV. You have the option to log into any streaming app for which you have an account. We do not provide streaming app accounts.
DO NOT THROW WIPES DOWN THE TOILET. If you use wipes, you'll be fined $1500 for any plumbing repairs.
No parties or gatherings greater than 15 people.
Absolutely no smoking of any kind inside the property, including vaping or medicinal marihuana. If we smell smoke you will be fined $500. You're welcome to smoke outside.
No loud music after 9PM.

Modern, comfortable place to escape

Great host, could not ask for more in terms of communication. House is freashly updated, kitchen well equiped. Good location for hitting the beach. Good linens, beds, etc

Attentive Property Manager

First and foremost i want to say I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. However, when I arrived there were issues with the carport (portions had fallen in) and the pool furniture (broken). My reason for choosing this location was to work remotely and relax by the pool in the sun. Unfortunately, I could not because the furniture was broken and actually was too dirty for my liking. The property manager was very accommodating and responsive to my concerns. The plan was to replace the furniture quickly but it wasn't certain whether it would happen before my departure. I have noticed from the current pictures that the outdoor furniture has been replaced and its an even better setup than before. My purpose for mentioning these things is not to be picky but to share how responsive and attentive the property manager was during my stay. The situations i mentioned earlier occurred right before my stay began and both I and the property manager were disappointed. The property manager's attentiveness during my stay made a disappointing situation extremely palatable.

Nice property with some missed opportunities

I stayed in the property for a long weekend in Feb. The property was very clean and well decorated and the availability of a private pool was a great addition. I will say there were a couple of missed opportunities that would have elevated things a bit. Upon arrival the grass was way over due to be cut and the garbage can was sitting out by the road and the recycle bin was full and positioned in the corner of the upper drive way. The next morning the garbage bin had been turned over so I had to drag it back up to the house. Not a great initial impression. The house itself was cute and the decor - while nice was not exactly what is pictured in the listing. Some of the nicer decor touches were apparently added for the listing pics and removed for rental. The house also had a W/D listed as one of the amenities, but I looked all over and never found one. There was a room out side off the patio that was locked so it may have been in there. The outside shower was a nice feature but the drain was not optimal so you ended up standing in water after a few minutes which wasn't great. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and the one question I had after check-in was quickly answered.

Nice house but some things need attention.

The house is in a great location. A nice quiet, safe neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is also very nice - open and well equipped. The pool, while not large, is enjoyable and sunny. There were 5 adults for a 2 weeks stay. Unfortunately the only sofa (3 seater) was not very comfortable or suitable for large seating. There was a large sofa shown in some photos, however the smaller sofa is the one on site. The management is responsive and tries their best with any issue or question we had. We mentioned the wobbly twin beds. They tried to fix but I think the problem might be there for the next guests as well as blinds in east facing bed room (bright morning sun) do not close since missing their pull strings. I paid extra for the pool heat however the heat was off and only 76 when arrived. I know how to operate the equipment so it was not a problem for me (although some might not know what to do). The pool heat is all manual and operated on site, not by an app. I was surprised by some additional fees that I did not see as part of the original VRBO transaction. I was able to save the 3% credit card fee by paying direct, but it all took work. Overall we enjoyed staying in the house, but some details could be improved.
