I generally dont write negative reviews. but this is an exception. Property is in a great location and we enjoyed and its driving distance to places. Ive stayed in other VRBO locations earlier and this property needs an upkeep & upgrade. House came with min essentials and we are OK. This is outdated property with short term fixes everywhere. We stayed here with our extended family with small kids and there are lot of bug bites. we hope they are mosquitoes but are really worried if there are any bed bugs. As this was our last min planning, we adjusted for this place, but will definitely look for better alternate options if we had one.

This accommodation needs renovation
The environment is magnificent. The photos are beautiful, and they give a fairly accurate overview of what we see there, but not of what we don't see: first of all, inadequate heating: the entrance to the basement - that is the main door - is not heated and the door to the hallway is poorly insulated, the cold enters directly into the bathroom downstairs where the heating is broken and the electric baseboard in the hallway is insufficient to take over (never more than 10 degrees Celsius during our stay). Elsewhere, the electric baseboards are exposed, there is unrepaired water damage in a bedroom in the basement, with a strong smell of damp, paint needs to be redone on the staircase upstairs, etc. Despite a comment made in August 2024, the dishwasher is still not attached, the lighting is clearly insufficient, especially in the central room. In short, it's incredibly expensive for what you get: the only reason to justify such a price is a very large number of beds: so it's quite a bit cheaper when you split the bill between 10!
Over the last 5 years, I rented several comparable houses for our family vacations (summer and winter holiday seasons).
While the facilities were certainly OK overall, I would say the rental is expensive for what you get. The main foyer (most of the pictures in the advertisement) is great. The bedrooms and bathrooms facilities are average.
There were clear maintenance issues with the lobby's main entrance door (we had to go in-and-out through the secondary basement entrance), the dishwasher was not attached to the counter (tipping forward every time you open it), lighting is insufficient, there was no fan in the basement bathroom, and kitchen is lacking few cooking essentials. When you rent a place like this (for 10+ people), owners should expect customers to cook for 10+ people!
When we got there, the spa was not functioning (cold) - we had to call-in. As a result, the spa could not be used for 10+ hours in order to warm up. Bedroom decorations are - let's say - very minimalist. Also, at least one ''bedroom'' had no window. I am not sure this can legally be called a ''bedroom'' in Quebec (according to the CNB).
Finally, the 10am check-out time is way too early (considering the 4pm check-in time). According to ''house rules'', you have to empty the dishwasher, take out the trash/recycling, etc... so if you want to have breakfast and use the dishwasher (10+ people!) - you have to plan getting up around 7:30am at the latest... a noon check-out would be just fine...
