Our stay was outstanding! Every one of my friends (and me) loved the place and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was quiet, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the history of the home and the region. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed the easy commute to Quebec as well as the lovely property of Clos des Brumes.

This rustic cottage was absolutely beautiful. The house and country setting were so relaxing and comfortable. Our party of eight all agreed that we would love to come back here. Daniel was an excellent host, and readily available to answer any questions. We enjoyed meeting him and learning a bit about the house and area. Thank you Daniel for sharing Le Clos des Brumes.
4 adults and 5 teenage girls stayed. We have been renting cottages and ski chalets together for the past 10 years. This was excellent for a group our size. Everyone under the same roof, plenty of beds and bathrooms.
Daniel was great.
The property is over 300 years old, wooden built but still has all the moden necessary amenities. It is very beautiful and ample amount of rooms for a big family. Everyone, especially the kids loved.it. Upper Quebec is about 30 minutes away and Montmorency is about 15 minutes away. The owner, Daniel was very nice, responsive and easygoing. If we come back with the same number of people, definitely this would be our #1 choice.

I'm delighted to know that you appreciated the authentic character of our historic property while enjoying modern comforts.
Your appreciation for my hospitality and helpfulness means a lot to me. I always strive to make my guests' stay as pleasant as possible.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
The house was built in the 1600s so it is very rustic but it is very well equipped with bathrooms in all of the six rooms plus a separate half bath. Comfortable beds. Ample towels and extra sheets/blankets. Kitchen is well equipped. Appreciated that owner left some condiments behind like salts/pepper/spices. Owner was always available. We liked the barbecue and the fire pit. The surround sound music was a nice touch as are the motion sensor lights in the hallway and kitchen. Location was good. Quiet surroundings. Easy to get on and off highway to the city. Restaurant nearby for a quick bite. Would highly recommend.
Cannot say enough good things about this house! Location was amazing! House had so much room. Huge yard for kids to play in. Perfect. Everything was easy and smooth. Highly recommend!
A lovely old farmhouse with plenty of character and the modern amenities that we have grown to expect. Wood and stone accents throughout. If this house could talk, I’m sure it could tell some stories! Lots of room for people to congregate and also plenty of space to have some quiet time too. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked. Great location too. Daniel was attentive, helpful and a pleasure to talk to.
This is was a visit with friends and family and Clos des Brumes was the perfect spot for us. We had the whole house which was more than enough for the 7 of us, and each room had its own private bath. We tended to congregate in the dining room and in front of the fire in the suite. Daniel was a great host and he kept the firewood stocked and the driveway - a steep pitch - plowed. Beautiful trial (groomed) starts at the driveway which we snowshoed. We ate in most nights and went into Quebec for a couple of meals, a very easy drive. Also an easy drive to Monte Ste Anne. If you are a shower person - in a couple rooms showers did not work as well as baths. We highly recommend this location.
Cozy Heritage property. Exceptionally well maintained.
Our family had a very enjoyable two night stay to ski at Mont Saint Anne which is an easy 10 minute drive away. The house is on a beautiful setting, overlooking the River. Loved the old fashioned stone fireplace. Lots of room to spread out for a big group. Kitchen very well equipped for a VRBO.
Thanks, Danielle.
