Beautiful views of the Ohio!

We loved the beautiful view each morning. Our kids enjoyed skipping rocks off the pier and listening to all the fish jump.

Can't wait to come back!The cabin was spotless, well-appointed with everything I could need for my one week stay, including connections, nice pot, pans, and kitchen utensils, and an assortment if toiletries in case I forgot any of my own.

The cabin was fantastic. The kitchen had all the needed items for cooking. The beds were comfortable. The views were unbelievable. The host provided a telescope and binoculars for viewing. The porch had plenty of seating and a table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you have a dog they have a doggie dog from the porch that leads to a ramp going down to a fenced in yard. There is also a gate on the porch if you have small children. The yard leading down to the river has a huge rock that is a great place to sit a watch the boats go by. There is a TV, but we never watched it. The cabin also has a washer and dryer. The host provides many little extras to make your stay pleasant.

Amazing View and Amazing Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Amazing views of the water, huge deck for the kids to run around while the adults relaxed. Very clean and spacious cabin!

Initial impression upon entering the property is very positive, pleasing to the eye. The view of the Ohio is very satisfying. A generous kitchen and great room make the stay so enjoyable. A very large screen TV that can be easily viewed from anywhere in the kitchen or great room. The internet connection allows for your streaming pleasure. That was easy. Bedrooms were adequate and comfortable. The Bathroom is a generous size with a shower and lavatory. Bathroom is well stocked to provide you with most all of the basic essentials. A washer and clothes dryer is offered, I however did not use them. The big deck allows for the comfortable viewing of the river. I hope a solution for all the stink bugs can be applied here.A fully stocked kitchen makes for a good place to gather for a home cooked meal with the family. All the rest of the accomodations were very good. All this, and it is affordable. I hade an enjoyble time here. Thank you.

Overall nice place. Location and outdoor setting was perfect. My only tip would be that the cleaning crew could have done a better job with dusting, cobwebs, washing inside fridge and freezer, and sweeping the wood floors. The beds, bathroom and kitchen were in excellent shape cleanliness wise so I overlooked the rest. There were three bags of trash on the porch upon arrival that the cleaning crew did not take with them but the owner came and got them my last night there. I’ll still return, but maybe the cleaning crew will give better attention next time. Small unincorporated town but I knew that when I booked. I was looking for quiet and peaceful. I did go into Tell City to look around at the flood gates murals, and to Cannelton Locks and Dam to watch the barges and boats lock through. Enjoyed a campfire at night and morning on the big deck watching the sunrise.

Weekend getaway

Brought my husband here for an early birthday surprise and it was definitely worth it. The place was absolutely gorgeous and the view was amazing. We spent most of our time down by the river fishing. I loved sitting out on the rock in the morning drinking coffee watching the sun rise. We will definitely be coming back again.

Derby Time cabin

We loved our stay at Derby Time cabin. Was beautiful inside with an amazing large deck. The views of the Ohio river were awesome and the setup for our little doggie was wonderful. We hope to go back next year. Loved it!

My husband and I stayed two nights and could not have been more comfortable. The cabin was so well-equipped, clean, comfortable. The covered deck was a perfect place for early morning coffee, leisurely lunch and early evening games. And the view of the river? Absolutely beautiful!
