Pleasant, relaxing and private stay on the banks of the Ohio River. If you want peace and quiet, comfort and simplicity, this is a perfect getaway. The huge picture windows on the water side of the house make it seem like you’re floating on the river. Watching the barges chug around the curves of the river and pass the house is delightful. Shane communicates quickly and keeps everything running with no fuss or muss.

Such a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful setting. This was our third stay here and it never disappoints. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, bakewake, and appliances. And the bathrooms have plenty of towels. Shane is good to work with and communicates well. We are already 'counting the days' until we can come back next year.

the cabin was very clean easy enter and exit the host was responsive the area around the cabin was beautiful with great trails and roads the view is wonderful from cabin great place to relax and enjoy the river we will be back

The property could use some TLC. One of the toilets was tricky to flush, the upper oven didn’t work, and one of the bar stools is missing a couple of screws on the seat. The views were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay, and we liked the location, but would likely choose another rental if we return to that area.

Quiet with a great view

Really nice house with a great view. Clean and well stocked with towels. Has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. Location is remote and in a quiet place. Will definitely be back.

Quiet river view

Just the ticket for a quiet, restful week. Loved watching the wildlife and river traffic! Plenty of bedrooms to stretch out. Two full baths and laundry area allowed us to make ourselves right at home.
