You'll find ample scenic views, points of interest, and convenient access points along the 6.4 mile stretch. Opportunities for bicycling, walking, hiking, bird watching, and fishing. The trail is comprised of two sections: a paved urban section stretching three-quarters of a mile from the Transportation Center to Fisher Street, and a natural section, two and a half miles long following the Cocheco River from Beckwith Ballfields to Watson Road.

GARRISON HILL TOWER: Second only to Mount Agamenticus, the tower atop Garrison Hill is the best place to take in the entire seacoast region. Thanks to hard working volunteers, this popular Dover attraction has been fully restored. Scarcely visible from the road, this tower is Dover’s secret jewel. Visitors must know where to turn to climb the hill and get a natural high. Seek out this Dover landmark.

good location for where I needed to go.
I would suggest you clearly explain about the setup. Although I have no issues, if someone was not as nimble as I, it should be clearly explained about the 2 sets of stairs, plus upstairs bathroom. If anyone needed a walker or whatever that would not have worked well. The kitchen worked very well for what I needed.

Property has good bones. Owner should disclose two flights of steep stairs to reach the unit and bedroom and and bath. First stairs to living room and kitchen. Second tighter steep stairs to the bedroom and ONLY bath. As a 70 year old with arthritis in both knees, this was a pain. The kitchen is VERY nice. The mattress is way too soft. A little "attention to detail" would go a long way. Three lights out during our stay and bedroom TV did not work. 1/2 bottle of small shampoo left. But overall, it is a nice property.

I really enjoyed this property. Stayed here with my sister who has a bad ankle. The only and biggest downside is the steep stairs to get into the property and then again to the only bathroom & bedroom. It’s a quaint, nicely furnished apartment. I would NOT recommend to anyone with small children or elderly people…they could not handle the stairs and could easily get hurt. Myself…I would definitely stay here again. It is close to where my son & DIL live and close to downtown shopping.
