THE SPACE:

LIVING ROOM:
A cozy oasis where you can unwind with many comfortable seating options and a relaxing wood-burning stove. Enjoy the space to play cards, catch up with family and friends, watch a movie with the whole crew, or send the kids to the bunkhouse for some quiet time.

THE BUNKHOUSE:
Here is where the fun happens! Our family has endless fun game nights here.

- Bunk beds for overflow or private sleeping quarters. (This is always the kids first choice for sleeping.)
-60-inch smart TV
- Ping pong
- Darts
-Shuffleboard
-Many more games and activities

OUTDOOR SPACE:
You'll enjoy 1.6 wooded private acres yet still be close enough to neighbors and walkable to many shops and stores.
Enjoy the FIRE PIT where you'll feel like you are camping in nature, and the 6-person HOT TUB is a must in the colder months. Many guests comment on their favorite spot being the OUTDOOR SCREENED-IN PORCH with dining for 8 and relaxing swinging chairs. During the warmer months, don't forget to follow the secret trail in the forested backyard to the HAMMOCK for some true relaxation.

SLEEPING SPACES:
1. UPSTAIRS MASTER BEDROOM:
King bed with high-end parachute linens and an en-suite bathroom.

MAIN LEVEL BEDROOMS:
2..Bedroom : Queen bed
3..Bedroom : Queen bed plus a twin bed in this large bedroom with a sink.
4. Bunkhouse: bunk beds

ADDITIONAL SLEEPING OPTION:
The loft has a comfortable leather daybed.

BONUS TV ROOM: This room is on the main floor and is a passageway to the outdoor screened-in porch. It has a cozy vibe and really helps with separation of space with larger groups. This cabin feels spacious with all the unique nooks and crannies to discover.

THE LOFT:
The loft is upstairs right outside the master bedroom. This space is a perfect place to curl up and read a book. You'll also find a wide variety of board games to choose from on the wicker shelf.
NOTE: The leather daybed is very comfortable and works as an additional sleeping area, if needed.

THINGS YOU WILL LOVE:

- Over an acre of fenced, forested backyard and
many private areas set up to
relax and enjoy nature.
- Located in a serene neighborhood where you'll see
deer, hear owls, birdwatch, and feel closer to nature.
- A rare private location that is still walking distance
to a grocery store, pub, Mexican restaurant, wine bar, café/bakery, pizza, and more.
- Game room/Studio includes extra sleeping space
in a large heated outbuilding "The Bunkhouse."
-Fully stocked kitchen with high end pots and
pans.
- Minutes to hiking/biking trails and the Salmon &
Sandy river
-Half a mile to Mt. Hood Oregon Resort golf
course and Spa
-Plowed road in the winter (we still recommend
AWD vehicles)
-Cell and WiFi service is great
-Large flat circular driveway with lots of parking.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

Our WiFi is the best option available in the area and is very fast. Please keep in mind this is in a forest, so occasionally it will stop working. We unplug and plug it back in, and then it's up again in a few minutes. We can work remotely very easily. However, be warned it can be spotty at times. We can go months with no issues, then suddenly we have to reset. I guess it's all part of the charm. :)

Parents of young children should be aware that there is a staircase leading to the upstairs loft which may not be suitable for unsupervised small ones. Also, please note that if you decide to have a fire in the wood-burning stove, the exterior gets very hot. Please message us if you have any questions about this.
We do provide a baby gate for stairs and a screen you can put in front of the wood stove.

DOG FRIENDLY:
Bring your best friend! I know we don't like traveling without ours!
Two dogs are welcome!
You will need to indicate how many dogs when you book and will be charged a flat $50 fee.
We will provide a dog goodie box filled with towels, food and water bowls, and waste bags.
Please pick up after your dog!
Also, note that dogs are not allowed on furniture, and you will be responsible for any damages, so please do not leave your dogs unattended.

-CLEANING-
It’s important for us to maintain exceptional cleaning standards. 100% plus of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests.

-EXTRA GUESTS-
The house will accommodate 8 people. However, please note that there are only 3 bedrooms and 4 beds in the main house. Also available is the daybed in the loft AND twin bunk beds in The Bunk House, if needed.

We charge an extra guest fee after 6 guests so please make sure you include all guests with your reservation so there isn't any surprise expenses. If you have more than 8 guests with out first clearing it with us, you may be charged our event fee of $150 an hour.

-FIREPIT-
The Oregon Department of Natural Resources often restricts outdoor fires in the summer to prevent wildfires. Please call the Hoodland Fire District prior to burning wood in the fire pit in the summer to check on current status or just message me and I will check on it for you.

-RING CAMERA -
We have a ring camera set up at the edge of the front deck. It is set up to just see the driveway for safety and for us to keep an eye on the property when it is vacant. We purposely made sure it is no where near any hang out spots for guest privacy.

Sound good? Great! We look forward to hosting you soon!

** If you read this far, write "Huckleberry Pie" when you book. It helps us know that you have read all the important information and will be happy at our cabin!
- No parties or events with out pre-approval. Will be subject to $150 an hour fee.
-No smoking
-No dogs on furniture or beds

Seriously
Seriously one of the best cabins we've ever stayed at. Multiple rooms for entertainment. Easy check-in/check-out. Great communication. Comfortable beds (always makes or breaks a trip) were on point - everyone slept like logs. Highly highly recommend.

Out in the WildWoods
Being in the tall trees is a vacation in itself. This house is modern, well decorated, well appointed with appliances. Everything worked well. Sitting outside by the firepit or in the Hot tub is relaxing. Our dogs enjoyed the walks during the day. HIghly recommened!!!!!!!! And encouraged!

Amazing Mountain Getaway!
This house exceeded all expectations. First off, it's very well stocked with a lot of the basics, like plastic wrap and tin foil, that I find missing in other rentals. The house was very well cleaned for our arrival, and the home was very comfortable for my wife and I, along with our dogs. There's no shortage of entertainment with the bunk house, hot tub, and outdoor sitting area. Weather was perfect for our stay, and the wood stove was great for the cooler nights. The home feels secluded and private, but you can also walk or take a short drive to find a few restraunt, shops, wine bar and even a liquor store for any last minute needs. The hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond with any and all information. In short, we loved our stay and we'll definitely be returning.
