About this property

Wy'East Waters: A Mountain Retreat. Hot Tub. Pet Friendly.

Escape to Wy’East Waters, a spacious, modern mountain cabin nestled among towering evergreens with tranquil, peek-a-boo views of the Sandy River. Step inside to inviting wood interiors, vaulted ceilings, and skylights that wash the cabin in natural light from sunrise to sunset. Every room feels intentionally crafted to help you unwind, reset, and reconnect—whether you’re enjoying a slow morning coffee or returning from a full day of adventure. Enjoy an 8-person hot tub overlooking the forest—perfect for unwinding under the stars after a day on Mt. Hood.

The main living room is the heart of the home, offering plush seating, a stunning stone fireplace, and expansive windows with calming forest views. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a blanket, share stories, or watch the sunlight move across the room.

Wy’East Waters offers two distinct living areas—ideal for families, couples traveling together, or groups who appreciate space to spread out.

Upstairs, you’ll find an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area. The spacious master bedroom includes a private couch seating area, TV, forest views, and an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and elegant granite countertops. The second bedroom features a queen bed with a twin bunk above, and a chair and beanbag for storytime. Conveniently located across from the second bathroom, which includes a bathtub and a skylight that fills the space with soft daylight.

Downstairs, a third bedroom and third bathroom are paired with a cozy, den-style second living room—perfect for movies, games, or relaxed evenings in. This versatile space includes:

- A new Roku TV with Netflix, HBO Max, and other complimentary apps
- A large, comfortable couch that pulls out into a full-sized bed
- A plush beanbag chair for lounging
- A dedicated desk workspace, complete with leather chair, monitor, keyboard, and mouse
- Fast WiFi for remote work or streaming
- Board games and puzzles
- A curated library of books, both modern and vintage
- A laundry room with Samsung washer and dryer

This thoughtful division of space allows everyone to enjoy their own rhythm—movies downstairs while others sip wine by the fireplace, quiet workspace for early risers, or a kid-friendly zone while adults unwind upstairs.

The light-drenched kitchen offers granite countertops and everything you need for real cooking. Whether you prefer Keurig coffee or a regular drip coffee maker, both are provided—along with fresh cream for your morning ritual. The kitchen is fully stocked with:

- Quality cookware and bakeware
- Plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and serving ware
- Sharp knives and essential utensils
- Cooking oils, vinegar, and a curated spice selection
- Basic pantry staples for convenience

Every bathroom is stocked with premium soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions so you can settle in with ease. The home features efficient heating and cooling, ensuring comfort year-round, whether you're visiting during snowy winter weekends or warm summer trail-days.

Wy’East Waters welcomes pets and includes thoughtful amenities for four-legged guests:

- Elevated Pet bowls
- Poop bags
- A cozy dog bed

For families, we also provide a crib, kids' books and games, making travel with little ones more convenient.

Wy’East Waters is designed to be as peaceful outside as it is inside. Enjoy:

- A large 8-person private hot tub overlooking the forest
- A welcoming outdoor fire pit perfect for s’mores and stargazing
- A short, gentle path to a metal bench where you can sit and listen to the river flowing below
- Deck seating ideal for morning coffee, reading, or evening conversations

Despite its wooded, private feel, Wy’East Waters is centrally located to everything the mountain has to offer:

- 5-minute walk to the Sandy River community beach
- Short drive to grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants
- 25–35 minutes to Ski Bowl, Summit, and Mt. Hood Meadows ski areas
- Just minutes from dozens of hiking trails, including Wildwood Recreation Site, Salmon River Trail, and Mt. Hood National Forest access points
- Access to Timberline Rim neighborhood amenities: seasonal pool, playground, tennis and basketball courts

It's the ideal home base for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, swimming in the river, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of Mt. Hood’s forest canopy. Park in the garage during winter weather, and put your snowboards and skis on a rack in the garage.

A Retreat Designed for Connection:

Wy’East Waters was created to be a place of comfort, connection, and calm—a retreat where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy forest views from every window. Whether you're gathering with loved ones, exploring mountain trails, or savoring peaceful mornings with the sound of the river drifting through the trees, this cabin offers a restorative experience in every season.

We had a lovely weekend at the cabin! It was very well stocked kitchen with a electric tea kettle, board games for the kids, flip flops to wear to the hot tub. The hosts were accommodating and responsive to questions. It would be good for future guests to download or write down the instructions for getting into the home, as given the location our cell service was limited and we could not pull up the vrbo app on our phone. Lesson learned... we drove back into town, but next time will write down the door code and the host phone number.
