Roaches

The property is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but after a few nights you start to understand the bad reviews. We saw multiple roaches while staying here, you can feel the springs through the mattresses, there were little to no towels, the pool and hot tub are an extra $100 per day to heat, the fridge was leaking from the top on the inside, the water in the kitchen stopped working half way through our stay and the host did nothing (health code violation). We were washing dishes in the bath tubs (some vacation). The Dining room table chairs are ready to give out at any minute. The pool table in the garage is completely side ways and you can't even use it. Safe to say we were fooled by pretty pictures. We left the property at 8am and then the host left me a message saying the housekeepers said we had a late checkout and they couldn't clean because we hadn't checked out yet. Checkout is at 10am we left at 8am and were already at the airport by 10am. I've been staying at Terra Verde since I was a kid and this property was a disappointment.

Excellent Resort Home

We stayed at this property and give it a 5. That follows a 1 previous rating from the prior guest. We stayed a month. The owner put in new flooring throughout the premises. New Kitchen countertop and cabinets All new appliances including fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer & dryer Pool screens are new. This house is only 6 houses from the resort which is included. Great heated pool, hot tub and out door bar at the resort. Also, the resort has a pool table, game room & outdoor mini golf. The only issues we had at this property is pool table at this property is shot and grill is rusted and not working. We did not care about those issues. We would rent this place again. All in all it is excellent.

Halfway house

The stay was like a horrible nightmare , from beginning to end. Place was dirty ,ants everywhere ,dining room chairs, all legs loose. Pool was filthy plus they charge to much a day to heat.Tiles on floor cracked through out. A game room with ripped carpet thats trippable. Pool table ripped and worn beyond use. No toilet paper holder in master bath ,1 roll of toilet paper in each bath. 2 towels per bath . Handle left faucet in master bath vanity broke.The host very slow responding. The property had no smoke detector in back bedroom , all hot wire ,so that matters, is not up to code in any way. Dishwasher not attached would come out if you tried to open. No ammenties except some Q tips and cotton balls,oven was old broken and off ,had to turn breaker on to use one time. Screens around pool all torn. Carpets throughout all stained, beds all feel like sleeping on box springs. All sofas old ,and very uncomfortable. Still did not get my full refund for non usable pool/ hot tub. Green inside both.

Okay for the money

It was okay. A lot of minor things, not very many towels and wash cloths so take your own or be prepared to do laundry often, closet door in one bedroom was broken, knob on a bathroom sink was broken, there were no check in instructions left at the property giving any information on when trash pick up was, places that deliver in the area, just basic common things that we have always seen in other rentals. The pool and spa were cold, we requested pool heat that never did work, the spa wouldn’t turn on. I have requested the money back for the pool heat with no response from owner.
