The Dappled Light Cliffside Cabin is a beautiful space that you, your family, and/or your friends will feel at home in quickly! The Space:
Surrounded by over 50 acres of national forest, with onsite hiking trails and nearby local attractions, you’ll be able to enjoy all of the adventure you want during the day and return to comfortable, cozy lodging at night.
Our cabin was handmade by a local builder from rough-hewn oak and pine. The inside is warm, inviting, and breathable, with a view that's impossible to beat. In the evening, after you've spent the day exploring the National Forest, go down near the cliff edge and enjoy a small campfire while you watch the sunset.

What a beautiful escape! My 2 boys, husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of Cliffside cabin. We drove out to hike and dinner then came back for spectacular sunsets and campfires. The cabin is spacious and well stocked with everything you might need to cook any of your meals.
My husband and I were blown away by the view. We also loved being able to explore right from the cabin. The trails are well marked and the property is absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and quaint and well thought out. The deck is serene--no other buildings in sight.. tons of birdsong such a nice weekend escape.
My friend and I came down to kick off my early birthday celebration. We got there just before dusk and the view was breathtakingly beautiful. Not to mention we were at the end edge of a cliff in a literal tree house! The inside was beautiful, modern, cozy, & peaceful. It was EXACTLY what we needed. 10/10 definitely recommend. We will be back!
The host was an amazing communicator. They were extremely accommodating. The property was "off the grid," with a kind of vibe with no wifi or television. I have an Apple phone, and my husband has an Android with AT&T as our wireless carrier. He was able to stream music and receive texts. My Apple phone was very hit and miss with reception, so be prepared for that. The living space and kitchen were very adequate, homey, and simply lovely. This was the perfect size for two adults. We stayed in the cabin all weekend for a few reasons (weather, not ideal driving conditions). I would definitely recommend all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. The path/driveway is some gravel and a lot of earth, which can be tricky in the rain and wet conditions. This was the perfect getaway for those looking for responsive and welcoming hosts, rustic and secluded accommodations, and a chance to be still in nature. I would highly recommend and will return!
