The Beach Escape-HHI is a classic Hilton Head home, located in the coveted North Forest Beach area of Hilton Head. Park your car and leave it behind for the rest of your trip! Our home is the 5th house from the beach, which is a two-minute easy walk away (0.1 mi) and a convenient 12-minute walk (0.7 mi) to the popular, Coligny Plaza, which has over 60 specialty shops and restaurants. Our spacious, pet-friendly home is all one-level - no stairs once you are inside the home!

This spacious, single-level home is centrally located to the best that Hilton Head Island has to offer, along with easy access to one of the quietest beaches on the island. Our home features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 17 guests.

*No extra charge for pool heating. Pool shoes recommended due to the textured bottom of the pool. Pool safety is a priority. Our pool is fully enclosed with self-closing safety gates. All doors leading to the pool have a door alarm that is installed high on the door that alarms if someone opens the door without pushing the bypass button first. Also, the door will alarm if it is left open for more than 7 seconds. Despite these safety features, children must be supervised at all times to guarantee safety.* **Please observe the Town of Hilton Head Island's Noise Ordinance by respecting quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am. Privacy-safe noise and smoke monitors are installed and utilized to notify guests**

***Up to 2 pets are allowed at a rate of $150/pet. For example, 1 pet would be an additional $150 per reservation. Two pets would be an additional $300 per reservation.***

2025 May birthdays celebration

The house was large enough that 4 teen girls, a college couple, an another adult couple, and us grandparents all had separate private space and group hangout spaces. The home was clean, stocked with everything you need, and very well organized.Bring your clothes and stock the fridge from the stores right down the street, and have fun!

Great location with all the amenities.

The house fit our family (14 total) very well. It was spacious, clean, and had wonderful added touches like coffee provided, dish soap and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every bathroom. The pool provided endless entertainment for the 6 children under age 7. It was a 5 min bike ride to Coligny and under 5 min walk to the beach. I highly recommend this house for any family vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The host was attentive and very welcoming. The house was beautiful and well stocked. All our instructions were clear. The pool was warm and clean. The location was great! It's a short walk to the beach and not far to walk to restaurants or shopping.

The property was as described and in a very convenient location to the beach. What I was most impressed with was all the little things that I’ve never seen in a VRBO: hand soap at all sinks, lotion at bathroom sinks, body wash/shampoo in showers, trash bags in pantry, laundry detergent and dryer sheets in pantry, dishwasher detergent under the sink, ziplocks and Tupperware in the kitchen. Many of these things I’ve forgotten or had to run to the store to grab, and this stuff was really a nice touch. The property was clean, and the owner was very communicative. We will definitely look at this property again.

Great place to stay.

We were there for our daughters wedding. Location was convenient for all our needs. House was very nice, beds were comfortable and house was stocked with the supplies we needed for our stay. Just son management is aware the in-law suites shower was slow to drain and the pool needed to be cleaned. Other than those two things we enjoyed our stay.

Family Fall Break

The fam included grandparents, 2 daughters with husbands, 2 grandchildren, and a mini dachshund. There was so much room and each group had their own bathroom including the teenager. We were able to bike to Coligny Park and the beach was less than a 5 minute walk. Great location and we appreciated the alarms on the doors to the pool having a 2 year old.

Could not have found a better place!

Great location to beach and Coligny. Kitchen had anything and everything we could possibly have needed. Pool area had everything from toys to soundsystem. Anything you could need to take over to the beach which was about 2 minutes walk to the sand. We could not think of anything else we could possibly have wanted or needed to make this a great family stay! We will be back!

Amazing beach house for a big group!

We loved every minute of our stay here! The house is massive with a kitchen and living room that can host a large group. The pool and back deck are lovely and there is a gorgeous old oak in the front yard. David was super communicative and even sent us some pastries on our first morning in the house! The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and all beach supplies that you could ever need are provided! I will 100% be looking to stay in this house in the future.

The property managers were fantastic answerd us within an hour . The air conditioner broke and the coffee maker was broke . Problems were solved . The location is fantastic . The decking on the pool is old and needs replaced . The air conditioner at the home cannot completely handle real hot weather and the house heats up in the day. The beach furniture at home was old and non operational! We paid a lot for the week and we would expect better. I hope vrbo goes out and inspects before a listing .

Great space for a big group!

This house provided us with all that we needed for a weekend group gathering. The pool was great, plenty warm in April and the walk to the beach was very short and easy. The beach towels provided were a great touch, as were the fresh pastries delivered to us on the first day -- that was a very, very kind gesture. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make all of our meals at the house, and the grill functioned perfectly. One thing to note -- the bunk bed frames are definitely better suited for children. The mattresses are comfy, but four individual adults on them was very, very loud and squeaky.

Amazing stay!

We had so much fun at this rental. Dave and Shannon were nothing short of amazing as they kept in constant communication to check on us and were quick to address concerns when they arose. Additionally, pool alarms gave us a great sense of comfort as we were traveling with little ones and were relieved when we found that the house was fully stocked with everything we needed when we decided to stay in. The welcome treats were a hit with the entire family and the location was perfect to go back and forth to the beach. Finally, the offering of board and card games allowed us to wind down after a Long Beach day. If you are on the fence about two properties, book this one! You will definitely not regret it! We were so sad to leave…even the kids!

The Perfect Christmas Family Getaway

My family chose this Hilton Head Escape and we were so happy we did. We come from all around the lower states to spend 5 days together to celebrate Christmas(before Christmas). We cook, open gifts and go on walking adventures. With 12 people altogether this space was sizeable and great because the beach was literally a 2 minute walk from the property. The space was clean, with lovely bedrooms and baths and everyone had plenty of room for their little family units but then we could all gather together in the open common areas and still it felt spacious. It was decorated so lovely for Christmas with 2 trees, lit garland on the front of house and the fireplace mantle. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking and spacious fridge/freezer for all the groceries we brought with us. We enjoyed time in the heated pool and all the outdoor games were a bonus for fun family game nights! We had an issue with the door alarm upon entry but the host responded very quickly and we figured it out. Highly recommend this especially for families that might want to gather for a holiday together like we did. You won't be dissapointed!

Family getaway for a long weekend

The house was larger than what we needed, but there are few offerings with a third bedroom designed for a couple rather than kids. The trade off was worth it. Front exterior house is modest but inside is great. Spacious. Clean. Nice laundry room. Kitchen very well equipped. Includes a pantry so plenty of storage for food / whatever. Well supplied...Hosts provide beach towels, wagons, chairs, umbrellas. In the kitchen, there were lots of pots, pans, spices and food storage bags, foil, saran wrap. In the laundry room, there's plenty of detergent and fabric softener. Makes packing easier. Great location...It truly is a 2 minute walk to the beach and they've got wagons to help with the loads. A short bike ride to Caligny Square and a Piggly Wiggly. Beds...very comfortable. Love the number of king and queen beds. Noise...The hosts are clear (and serious) about noise. We were in the pool on the first night; our chatter and laughter carried more than I was aware. Got a text at 10:01 that neighbors had complained. The hosts were understanding, but indicated that we would need to leave if it happened again. Fortunately, that didn't affect the rest of our stay. Only other blip was sporadic internet, but I think that's a general issue, and we did have a pretty bad storm one night. All in all, the blips were just blips. I would stay here again. If I had any questions, hosts were quick to reply and as accommodating as they could be.
