The guys loved all the things to do. Pool was heated 2nd day and a lot of the guys took advantage of that. Kick ball field, chipping range, water slide, basketball and pickle ball were all big hits.

Perfect for a large adult group

We booked this property for our quarterly adult getaway. It’s definitely a kid friendly home, but we had an amazing time with just adults. The property was so spacious and there was plenty of room for our large group! The 2 kitchens made it 10x easier to cook for our large group, and the multiple large spaces indoor and outdoor made it possible for everyone to do group events together. The multiple bathrooms were a huge plus for everyone to get ready in the mornings as well. Overall we had an incredible time and cannot wait to come back again!

5th Grade Mom/Daughter Trip

We took a giant group of 25 girls and 25 moms and we had a ball. The girls never watched TV or screens, the water slide was the top hit, we played a giant game of mom v daughter kickball, pickle ball, you name it we played it. The game room and movie room were big hits too. For this size group, it was absolutely perfect. Great way to end elementary school for the girls. Thanks retreat DFW!!!!!

Had a great experience here. All the amenities were great. The outdoor golf range was a hit. The group thoroughly enjoyed the water slide and pool. Plenty of bath and pool towels. We used the outdoor grill and the propane was included. Cons: ALOT of mosquitos and flies so we had to deal with a lot of that in the kitchen and the pool area. The pond only has a few pan fish. No bass. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue with the pool lights going out. They sent someone to fix it.These were small things that won't affect my overall score. All in all, it was a great experience.

Would Return

Overall, this is a great property for a large group "staycation" since there are so many amenities. It's a bit secluded but there is a city about 20 minutes drive to get pizza and groceries. We used this property for our company retreat and would definitely book again for the fact that there's something for everyone to enjoy. However, we do have a few suggestions that would have made the stay even better: - The check in process was very rushed. Seemed like the property manager didn't have enough time for all the properties he had to manage. - The kitchens are large, and there are two, but they're far apart, so we mainly stuck to the bunk house kitchen when cooking for our large group. However, the single stove and oven meant we had to cook the food in shifts and it took a long time to feed the entire group. Additionally, the cooking equipment was lacking--not enough pots/pans/serving dishes/cutting boards/cups/mugs for a large group, and the knives were very dull. - Though there was plenty of bedding and pillows, the bedding felt cheap and was not breathable, so it was a hot sleep, and the pillows were all very flat. We understand it may be costly to keep enough quality bedding on a property that sleeps so many, but many of our group made similar comments about it, so we feel a bedding upgrade could go a long way towards customer satisfaction. Again, despite these suggestions, we still consider this a five star property for keeping a large group of all ages happy.
