The Ponderosa is perfect for family or group getaways. 2 night minimum. Sleeps 6 easily-more upon request for extra charge. Wander our 16 country acres or head out the back gate into the Davy Crockett National Forest. Enjoy your private spa, barbecue and kitchen or the community game room and fire ring. Limited WIFI is available in central areas. Parking is free. Bring your horses and dogs, $50 per pet per stay. Guests must sign a release.

When we discovered this property our desire was not only to live here ourselves, but to share the country experience with others. Adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest makes it a favorite of hikers, horseback riders and anyone wishing to enjoy the peacefulness of nature. We think of our guests as "friends we haven't met yet". We're on hand to make sure your stay is perfect but will never intrude on your privacy.
Why they chose this property
Our 16 acres include The Ponderosa, Cast Away and 4 separate units plus kitchen/dining that make up the Town. A short drive down a dirt/gravel road will transport you to country living, but with all the amenities.
What makes this property unique
The Davy Crockett National Forest is literally out our back gate. Hike to your heart's content. Bring your horse and enjoy the 53 miles of forest trails or our 60 x 120 covered arena. Wildlife abounds here as our property is certified as a wildlife refuge. Enjoy the ducks, geese, chickens and turkeys, too!
