Super nature, super private, super cool
We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, comfortable and very accommodating for our family of 5. There were so many rooms and beds that our 3 kids said they should’ve each brought a friend. I would definitely recommend.

Pleasant Haven
Spacious home with everything we needed for our large family. Very quiet and private. Loved using the hot tub and looking at the stars in the evening. Would rent again.

Great house. Really good value.
This house actually has four bedrooms and sleeps 14 people! The location was perfect for is — really close to the summer camp where our boys are attending. We did not go down to Webber pond from the house. We really enjoyed the hot tub, which is in a nice spot on the front porch. We also use the gas grill, which was handy. The kitchen is very large and well equipped. A clean sponge and dishwasher detergent and dish all provided. They even had some staples in the pantry like sugar, salt, pepper, so we didn’t have to buy everything. Each room had a box fan, though the weather was lovely while we were there and we did not need them. There’s a large rec room on the ground floor and there’s even a full-size ping-pong table in the laundry room! The washer and dryer worked well, and we appreciated that some folks left a little bit of detergent behind so we didn’t have to buy any. there are two full bathrooms — one on the first level near the two bedrooms and another on the second floor in between the two bedrooms. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were supplied, which was also nice. Overall, the house is clean, light, spacious, modern, and a really nice relaxing place to hang out with friends and family. It definitely exceeded our expectations!

Remote stay
We loved staying at this property for the weekend. We found everything we needed and had a be try comfortable stay. We had asked a few questions to the host during our stay and didn’t hear back so communication was a bit lacking but overall it was excellent.

Absolute perfection (besides the hot tub)
Everything was perfection! Aside from the hot tub being really dingy. Water not clear and filter covered In hair and stuff. Grime all around the waterline. We booked wanting that so it was slightly disappointing BUT- we really enjoyed the house and the location! Would go back for sure! And having our dog with us was wonderful! There were great games which we played too!

Some hidden issues
The dishwasher was installed incorrectly so it was not usable. The coffee pot was missing the carafe, so we had to get a coffee maker for our coffee. The bunk beds mattresses were only a few inches thick in the middle so we were only able to use 2 of the 4 bedrooms. But the hot tub worked great, we loved the property and they had so many toys and games for the kids.

Secluded
House is very secluded and remote. It’s a little distance to do a lot of things but in a great location. House is nice and local team is very responsive to questions or concerns.

Tucked away and scenic
Great spot, easy to get to but still private...feels like a proper Maine camp. The house has tons of space and is close enough to nearby towns that you don't feel cut off. It's an excellent choice for anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoor activities of Maine.

Cozy winter getaway!
We visited this home for a weekend family getaway - very clean and open concept while still providing areas for separation when needed. Wood stoves kept the home warm and cozy with hot tub access right off the living room. Kids loved the game room down stairs. Would love to return sometime!

Clean, cozy and comfortable
Pleasant Haven is a spacious and cozy home that was perfect for a weekend away in the woods. We enjoyed the warmth of the wood stoves and number of bedrooms this property provides. The kitchen was clean and great for cooking a meal together. The kids enjoyed spreading out their toys in the basement and the house was family friendly including a high chair and other amenities. I would definitely like to return again soon, regardless of the season! Thanks for having us!
