About this property
Long Lake Escape; FUN in all seasons! A family home that's pet friendly!
****Summer 2024 vacation weeks July-Sept will be booked from Fri-Fri****
The house is cozy and comfortable, it's easy to feel right at home. Relax in one of the 3 reclining chairs and watch a movie. Pour cocktails and play games at the bar/bar top table. Cozy up with a book in the papasan chair.
In the warmer months we put out a large comfortable hammock which is great for both napping and relaxing. The large screened in porch offers lots of seating and beautiful views of Long Lake. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with more than just the cooking basics. The large combo charcoal/gas grill, which was moved off the porch for safety, is located under the screened in porch now. Cook up all your favorite grill foods and enjoy them with a view of Long Lake!
We are conveniently located, just minutes to a lake/pond of your choice to swim, relax or play at. Rainy day? No problem! Bridgton (and the surround area) offers loads of rainy day activities. Some of our favorite anytime activities include
Picnics on the beach
Family hike/exploration
Park hoping
Catch a movie at the drive-in or local movie theater
Candlepin bowling in Fryeburg
Gray Wildlife park-also fun on a rainy day
Exploring the local libraries
Day trip to one of the many surrounding/beautiful communities such as Bethel, Norway, or North Conway!
You can find it all in or around Bridgton, ME! (except sharks, you may want to stick with Cape Cod if you are a fan of sharks)

About the host
Hosted by Erin Henson

Erin-I've enjoyed traveling and exploring new places for as long as I can remember. I've traveled all over New England but Maine always stood out as a favorite. I'm a full-time stay at home mom to a spunky big kid in addition to primary manager of our home in Bridgton, ME. I previously worked as a social worker for a large hospital in Boston. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, traveling, kayaking, and hiking.
Chris-Is an Army and Navy veteran who graduated from the Citadel. He currently works as a software developer for a gaming company. In his free time he enjoys tinkering with and fixing random things! He also enjoys hiking, swimming and kayaking.
We work together on home improvement projects and up keep for the house. When our family is in town we enjoy playing at Crystal Lake beach, getting a snack in Bridgton Center, taking a walk in Pondicherry park, attending Storytime at the library and so much more!

Why they chose this property
My husband and I purchased our second home in Maine in the fall of 2019. We love to be able to share it with others. The property allows us to have all the comforts of "home" but the benefit of being closer to nature. We love we can leave the house and go in any direction to bike, hike, swim, kayak and more.
