We welcome you to enjoy this lakefront log cabin located on the north basin of Moose Pond. Moose Pond is in the Lakes Region of Western Maine.

Our cabin is situated steps away from a sandy beach on exclusive Moose Pond. You can enjoy 150ft of private water frontage. With 17 miles of shoreline, it's perfect for water sport of all kinds. The fishing is great. In fact, the Maine state record for Large Mouth Bass is from Moose Pond.

There is great hiking, biking, rock climbing (N.Conway) and every type of outdoor activity you can imagine.

This is also a nice fall spot for the foliage, apple picking and Fryeburg fair season,

Please consider winter rentals as well. We are only 1.5 miles away from PLEASANT MT (old Shawnee Peak) a great family ski mountain. Since 1989, the mountain has been offering the most night skiing in Maine, and now with 6 lifts servicing 40 trails and two terrain parks, they offer the most night skiing in the East, hands-down.

This location is also great for snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing and any other winter activities you can think of.

Bridgton town center offers many close amenities, including Standard GastroPub, Black Horse Tavern, Nectar Juice Bar, Bavarian Chocolate Haus, Bear Bones Beer and Magic Lantern Theater. As well as a grocery & a pharmacy store.

There is plenty of dining and shopping in North Conway (outlet stores, alpine slides, water park, ski areas and more), which is only 20 miles away. Some other popular areas to visit while you are in town are:

*Freeport (home of LLBean): 75 miles away

*Naples (Sebago/Long Lake): 15 miles away

*Portland (Maine's largest city): 45 miles away

Wonderful spot! Awesome backyard right on the lake with a nice private dock and fire pit Kayaks and canoe for exploring the beautiful lake. Wood stove kept things warm on chilly autumn evenings. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. Hope to come back soon!

Another great week! Our 2nd stay in 3 years, this cabin serves as the perfectly-located base camp for our Maine and New Hampshire adventures. We took full advantage of the amenities - kayaks, boat dock, grill, firepit, lobster pot, and that perfect porch!! We will be back!

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin! For a family with young kids, the shallow swimming area near the dock was ideal. We had some good luck fishing from shore although it was a bit weedy in areas. We had great adventures in the kayaks and canoes exploring the northern basin. We saw a beautiful eagles nest on one of the northern islands along with other wildlife. We enjoyed paddling out and swimming in different areas. The home and property were lovely and provided everything we needed for our week long stay. We loved eating outdoors, enjoying coffee and books on the porch and picking wild blueberries from the grounds. The kids loved the loft! We also enjoyed venturing out into town and the nearby parks for some additional fun and exploration. No one wanted to leave and we hope to return in the future!

Fall rd trip

Very clean for a cabin in the woods, or for anywhere realy. Great location and view. Enjoyed the paddling although lake at that end too choked up with weeds for great fishing. Hostess was super helpful and easy to reach. Looks lile it would be fun place any time of year

A slice of paradise!

Serene camp on Moose Pond

Our shoulders dropped as soon as we walked through the front door and saw the view we would have for the week. We came up for a family wedding but found it hard to leave the house to do anything. You will just want to stay all day and swim, kayak, or swing on the hammock. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the screened in back porch and listen for the loons at night. What an amazing place! This was my toddler’s first time experiencing Maine and we are so thrilled that this lovely home was the backdrop!

Great cabin with a wonderful view!

We wanted a camping experience while traveling in Maine, so we decided to book this cabin. The cabin is cute and clean, and the view right out the back door is spectacular. The water sparkles with the sun and you have a great view of the lake, mountains, and trees. The cabin was well stocked with all the items we needed, even including dish and hand soap, toilet paper, towels, and linens. Everything was neat and clean. Our favorite thing was the view, and the campfire that is set right next to the lake. We enjoyed a campfire every night and the adirondak chairs were perfect as well. We loved getting to have the camping experience while still staying in a comfortable cabin. We also used the canoe and the family had a great time fishing. It's a bit of a hike to drive to the coast, but we did that twice and still got to have the cabin/ camping experience we wanted as well. Thanks for great communication the whole time. We love this rustic cabin on Moose Pond with such an amazing view! This was our third time here for a relaxing long weekend. Great location for fishing. The bedding is so comfy! Everything was perfect.

Great property. So close to the water, super cozy. We were there during a heat wave and the cabin stayed reasonably cool and there were lots of fans. Easy kitchen to cook in. Host was super responsive to the few questions we had upon arrival. Pond access and beach area are top notch!

Wonderful cabin

This was our fourth time to the cabin, so enough said. The porch overlooking the pond and the entire waterfront is beautiful. A perfect 4 days. Owner is very responsive.

Lovely cabin

Perfectly located cabin. You can enjoy the solitude of the lake yet be close enough to local attractions and the grocery store. One of the best features is the screened in porch which keeps the mosquitoes out and is the ideal place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Hearing the loons at night is a special treat I will never tire of.

Winter Mini-Vacation, Third Time!

This charming lakeside cabin is great for winter outdoor adventure-seekers and indoor comfort-seekers. Ski, snowshoe, ice fish, or skate locally. Relax on the winterized porch with a lap robe and your favorite warm beverage. Inside, get cozy with a book, next to the woodstove. Enjoy unplugged play on the generously-sized tabletop: build a puzzle, play cards or a board game, and still have room for a meal or snacks. Advice? Read the check in/out instructions and property descriptions carefully. You will carry in firewood, operate a wood stove, carry out recycling and trash, and perhaps, hike luggage and groceries down the sloping driveway. IT'S WORTH IT!
