Cute little cabin with a beautiful view of the pond from the picture window at the kitchen table. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin reminded us of our summers in Maine as children. The cabin was comfortable and the pond it is on is so clean that you can see to the bottom. Highly recommend!

Amy, thank you for your review. It was a pleasure having you and your family stay at The Loons Lookoout. You are welcomed back anytime.
This was a new part of Maine for us and by far our favorite. The cabin was the perfect lake cabin with everything you need and just steps to the lake. Theres a dock for swimming chairs an umbrella kayaks and a canoe! Saturday Pond was peaceful and beautiful with the loons and baby ducks- even a river otter. Tom and Lordes were the absolute best hosts. Accommodating, gave great suggestions and there when we needed anything. I wish we stayed longer!
Tom & Lourdes have a lovely gem in this Saturday Pond (gorgeous site) cabin. It is on the shimmering eastern shore of the large pond, mere steps to the cabin's own dock. Kayaks, fishing poles, comfortable chairs on the dock, on the porch, and in the yard. The place is very well appointed; the only thing I missed were face cloths--bring your own. The cabin is cozy, super clean, relaxing, and homey. Tom & Lourdes even had stainless steel dog bowls for guests arriving with a dog. Our Rory loved the place; he especially appreciated their dig Finnegan. The hosts are charming, gracious humans. Our visit was serene and perfect. Hearing the loons at night: cherry on the cake! Thank you, Tom & Lourdes. We hope to return in the near future!
We had a wonderful stay at this house! From the moment we arrived, we loved the peaceful setting, beautiful views, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. Tom, the owner, lives next door and warmly welcomed us and we met his dog Finnegan. He gave us a quick tour of the house.Inside and out, everything was set up with comfort and fun in mind. The kids loved the bunk beds and on a rainy day, we cozied up inside with the Smart TV and board games. (As a mom, I can’t say enough about the surplus of hooks in all the rooms, such a small detail, but it made a huge difference for hanging up beach towels, clothes, and jackets), and our dog loved laying under the dining room table and watching what we called ‘Squirrel TV’ out the window. The dock itself was fantastic, with comfy chairs perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or unwinding with a book. The kayaks were such a fun bonus, and we loved paddling around. There was great fishing for the kids, mostly small fish they were able to handle themselves, and they spent hours on the dock. Outside, we made great use of the picnic table and fire pit and the Adirondack chairs were the perfect spot for watching the water and waking up to the loons calling was a treat. It was also so convenient to have beach towels provided. Everything about this place was thoughtfully designed and so well cared for. We only stayed 3 nights, but it honestly didn’t feel like enough. This is an amazing space and we were so happy with our visit!
