Open concept living/dining area w/cathedral ceiling overlooking the water with stunning sunrise views. Beautiful rustic style and modern design kitchen. Two bedrooms on first floor plus a loft with a broad view of the water. Updated rustic modern bathroom includes a bathtub. Nicely wooded lot with a gradual slope to shore. Sandy entry into water. Dock at shore. Short ride to Naples causeway and area activities. Good fishing, boating and swimming. Lovely large deck and a shore side fire pit. On site Parking for two cars. This is a peaceful spot. The water is one of the highest rated for quality in the state. Private dead-end road. It has both a charcoal and a gas grille.

Bring your own sheets and towels. There are three full size beds and one queen size.

Spring and Fall travelers will take advantage of the wood burning stove and supplied cord wood.

Amazing Stay!

We could not have enjoyed our time at Jim and April's cottage more! The cottage was very nice and spending time on the lake was special. It was super easy to communicate with Jim. We would highly recommend this place.

Wonder stay at Trickey Pond

We had a wonderful time at Jim and April's cottage. It was the perfect location. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Our two pups enjoyed morning walks and swimming in the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Relaxing get away

Great property located in a quiet and serene setting. We loved just sitting by the lake and taking in the quiet. Loved that the property was close to Naples, which gave us easy access to restaurants.

Peaceful pond

We enjoyed our return to this special place. The cottage is charming and very nicely appointed. We enjoyed relaxing on the float dock, paddling in the pond, dining on the deck and evening camp fires. Our dogs enjoyed swimming in the pond and long walks on the road. Jim and April are perfect hosts!

Peaceful vacation

Cottage was clean, cozy, and great location. Brought my grandkids who enjoyed kayaking, fishing and paddle-boarding on Trickey Pond. Perfect place for families and very peaceful neighborhood.

Wonderful!

Comfy Cabin, Great Views, and Perfect Location

Cabin and location were fantastic for a relaxing getaway. The views from the cabin were beautiful and crystal clear water...we very much enjoyed in the fall temps and would be a great summer stay. So much to see and do in the lakes region of Maine and this is an ideal location. Close to everything that you need, yet far enough away so that you can enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this part of Maine. Jim and April were very easy with communications and we had everything that we needed for a great stay!

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our return to this beautiful spot. The cottage is equiped with many conveniences and very nicely appointed. The water views are spetactular! The hosts are very accommodating and respond quickly to questions. Our pets were welcome too and we all had a great time.

Perfect, peaceful place

We really enjoyed our time at Gladview. This rustic, modern, updated lakefront home is very nicely appointed with just about everything you can think of. The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed walks on the road, the lakeside fire pit and the wood stove. So pleased we could bring our pets! We were very comfortable here and would absolutely enjoy another stay.

Trickey Pond - The best

Jim and April have a wonderful place on Trickey Pond. Jim met us at the property to make sure we had everything we needed for a nice family get together. We hope to return!!!

Great stay at Gladview!

Wonderful property inside and out. Jim was a great host and responded to our questions quickly. There’s plenty to do at Trickey Pond, We made use of the kayaks and SUPs and had fires in the pit. We found some nearby hiking trails and really appreciated our dogs being allowed to stay with us. Thanks Jim and April!

A great place to get away!

We had an excellent vacation at this cottage by Trickey Pond. The house was modern inside and very comfortable for all of us. The views from the cottage were amazing and the access to the pond was perfect! The cottage is also not far from other things like food markets, retail shops and restaurants. The owners are very nice people and were super accommodating to us. We highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be back!

Lovely experience

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful location.. breathtaking view and so peaceful. The only thing I would say is that the scatter rugs were a tripping hazard for elders so we just placed them under the coach while we there there and a railing in the front stairs are needed. But we used side stairs … overall beautiful place!!!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed over Fourth of July week and had a wonderful stay. The cottage was perfect for us, a family of three with a dog. Trickey Pond is beautiful and peaceful. The house was equipped with all you need along with 2 grills; charcoal and gas, a SUP and kayaks. Location was great- about 10-15 minutes away from Naples causeway, but honestly, we really just enjoyed sitting on the dock or porch and swimming. We hope to go back again!

Perfect spot to decompress

Gladview Cottage was the perfect spot for my wife and I (and our dog) to relax over the week of Labor Day. Such a beautiful location. Weather was perfect for getting out on the kayaks and paddleboards. Stairs to the water made it easy for our dog to get in and go swimming (he's not one to jump off the dock). Enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. We will definitely be back.

Great spot to relax.

This is the perfect place for a getaway. Very private street with an awesome lot and great access to the water right out front. Waking up to the view from the loft is fantastic. We missed his summer but will hopefully return next year. My actual stay was July 18th 2015 but I am very late in my review.

Relaxing

We are all looking forward to a time away in Maine and this hit the spot. The location felt remote but still accessible to restaurants and stores. Our dogs were able to unwind. We couldn’t stop taking picture of the water. It has changed our opinions of lakes. The water was so clear. The fire pit and the wood stove were great places to gather. We highly recommend it.
