Open concept living/dining area w/cathedral ceiling overlooking the water with stunning sunrise views. Beautiful rustic style and modern design kitchen. Two bedrooms on first floor plus a loft with a broad view of the water. Updated rustic modern bathroom includes a bathtub. Nicely wooded lot with a gradual slope to shore. Sandy entry into water. Dock at shore. Short ride to Naples causeway and area activities. Good fishing, boating and swimming. Lovely large deck and a shore side fire pit. On site Parking for two cars. This is a peaceful spot. The water is one of the highest rated for quality in the state. Private dead-end road. It has both a charcoal and a gas grille.

Bring your own sheets and towels. There are three full size beds and one queen size.

Spring and Fall travelers will take advantage of the wood burning stove and supplied cord wood.

Lakeside fun on Trickey Pond!

We had a great time at the cottage! It’s right on the lake and the views are beautiful! We especially enjoyed the kayaks, floats and noodles! The kitchen was stocked with the gadgets, utensils and pots/pans we needed to cook meals, and Jim was easy to get in touch with! Great place to make memories on the lake :)

This is now my 6th trip to this beautiful lake house in Naples Maine area. Tricky Pond is perfect for a quiet and peaceful vacation without the rough waters of Naples's surrounding lakes. Very clean cottage. Perfect for families and friends. With plenty of space for 6 people this lake house has everything you need for the perfect vacation including a washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, internet, cable TV, board games, a deck with table and chairs, fire pit, kayaks, paddle boards, off street parking, boat mooring, air conditioning, and most important for Maine a lobster pot.

Love this property! Great location, perfect set up for a family of four and ideal proximity to Naples. The hosts are welcoming, responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this property for your summer getaway.

Relaxing get away

Great property located in a quiet and serene setting. We loved just sitting by the lake and taking in the quiet. Loved that the property was close to Naples, which gave us easy access to restaurants.

Wonder stay at Trickey Pond

We had a wonderful time at Jim and April's cottage. It was the perfect location. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Our two pups enjoyed morning walks and swimming in the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We could not have enjoyed our time at Jim and April's cottage more! The cottage was very nice and spending time on the lake was special. It was super easy to communicate with Jim. We would highly recommend this place.

Peaceful pond

We enjoyed our return to this special place. The cottage is charming and very nicely appointed. We enjoyed relaxing on the float dock, paddling in the pond, dining on the deck and evening camp fires. Our dogs enjoyed swimming in the pond and long walks on the road. Jim and April are perfect hosts!

We enjoyed our return to this beautiful spot. The cottage is equiped with many conveniences and very nicely appointed. The water views are spetactular! The hosts are very accommodating and respond quickly to questions. Our pets were welcome too and we all had a great time.

Comfy Cabin, Great Views, and Perfect Location

Cabin and location were fantastic for a relaxing getaway. The views from the cabin were beautiful and crystal clear water...we very much enjoyed in the fall temps and would be a great summer stay. So much to see and do in the lakes region of Maine and this is an ideal location. Close to everything that you need, yet far enough away so that you can enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this part of Maine. Jim and April were very easy with communications and we had everything that we needed for a great stay!

Lovely experience

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful location.. breathtaking view and so peaceful. The only thing I would say is that the scatter rugs were a tripping hazard for elders so we just placed them under the coach while we there there and a railing in the front stairs are needed. But we used side stairs … overall beautiful place!!!

Great stay at Gladview!

Wonderful property inside and out. Jim was a great host and responded to our questions quickly. There’s plenty to do at Trickey Pond, We made use of the kayaks and SUPs and had fires in the pit. We found some nearby hiking trails and really appreciated our dogs being allowed to stay with us. Thanks Jim and April!
