Perfect place to spend a few days while you explore the VT countryside. Hard to beat spending the evening in the hot tub on the deck with the view and the sounds of the river flowing!
The property was wonderful and the hosts were equally as wonderful. Beds were SO comfy and the hot tub was a wonderful post ski hang spot. Super close to magic mountain and lots of great restaurant/coffee recs. Can’t wait to return!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful - I wish I could give the house 10 stars ! Everything was perfect - exactly as shown in the pictures. John is a great host and I highly recommend the summit cottage.
Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the summit view cottage. The home was very cozy, beautifully decorated & had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the included K-cups too! We ski Okemo which is about 30 minutes from the house. John is a great host, we will definitely be back!
The house was beautiful. It was easy to find and the host gave very helpful directions for entering the driveway/property. It was the perfect size for my husband, 2 kids, and I plus we were very happy to find some a nice home that was dog friendly. We like to cook most meals at the house when we are away and this home had plenty of everything needed. The only furniture that might have been helpful was a coffee table, but we brough the little patio table inside and that worked perfectly. The rooms were nice, no dressers but plenty of hangers, and space above to lay folded clothes. The only negative thing I can say is that when we arrived, we found an empty container of the spa cleaner. The main attraction for our mini vacation was the hot tub and we had planned to be in it quite a bit. I messaged the host and he told me not to worry about it, but by the next to last day the water was pretty filthy and we didn’t enjoy the hot tub. But it was very enjoyable up until then. Otherwise it was a very relaxing experience at the house, and we were close to all of the nearby towns, spending the most time in Manchester. The house was also near a great supermarket, and we enjoyed dinner at The New American Grille, and had the absolute best breakfast at Maple Leaf Diner. We had a great stay, highly recommend this house.
