Spectacular views from our comfortable beachfront home!!

Our beach home is comfortable, quiet and perfect for families. The one half mile long private beach is 20 feet from our lawn. Views across Long Island Sound are breathtaking. Our home is a very special getaway where memories are made. We have high speed fiber optic Internet and TV. Also, it is a great place to read a book.

This was a great house for our family. Lots of room to spread out. Well-equipped kitchen. Great views of the Sound, and a very short walk down to the beach on a pathway.

Perfect spot

Our second time here - it’s the perfect, quiet spot to get away for a long weekend. Love walking on the beach (almost at the doorstep) and exploring the neighboring state park and local restaurants. The house feels like our own home - so comfortable. Thanks for everything!

We loved staying here! Great spot literally steps from the beach, incredible views out over Long Island Sound. Enjoyed watching the ferries go from New London to Orient Point. House is super comfortable and really feels like a home, not just a rental property. We will be back! Thanks.

Perfect location for our sibling reunion

This property was ideally located in an area where our family lived when we were growing up. We were close to all that we enjoyed as kids - the beach, parks, old friends and our neighborhood. We had plenty of room for all 4 of us and our spouses and we loved having a peaceful place by the beach to relax during down time. We all hated to leave!

Our experience was great and would highly recommend. View and access to beach is wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and the property very clean. Communication was great with the owner. Would definitely stay again. A+. Favorite part was listening to the waves lapping on the beach. So calming!

Great house

Very nice house in a beautiful location. Bob the owner, was very kind and informative. My family and I had a wonderful time walking the beach and the neighborhood, sitting on the deck and watching the boats, relaxing, reading and playing games. It was a lovely 3 days. We would definitely consider coming back again next year.

Lovely cottage on Long Island sound

A group of us stayed here for USCGA commencement. The house is nicer than the pictures do it justice. It's lived in and very retro but it's like visiting your beloved family home that is just the way you like it. Don't expect modern baths but do expect a lot of character and a well-stocked kitchen. Walking on the beach was lovely before the weather turned on us. Would definitely stay again.

Beach stay in CT

Beautiful location with access to shell ridden private beach. All necessary equipment available in the kitchen, plenty of sheets and towels and children's activities. The house was child friendly and nice to have plenty of bathroom and bedroom space. Lots to do in the area. Our host was helpful and very flexible and accommodating. with extremely fast response time. Couldn't have been happier and allowed our family to have a wonderful week.

Million Dollar views

We never got tired of looking out the windows at the gorgeous views. Since it was early May, there was only 1 afternoon to sit on the nice deck. The home had everything we needed and beats staying in a hotel any day. I loved the walks on the private beach. Bob was an excellent host. We played dominoes late every night.

Thanksgiving in CT

The house was great. What a view! Ample space. Well stocked kitchen. We had a wonderful time. We made due without a tv, brought a projector and streamed movies and football on a Rainey day. Loved it there I can only imaging how wonderful it is in the summer. The private beach was a plus for the after dinner strolls. The host was easily available for any questions. I would recommend this house to anyone.

This is a wonderful year around home which we only use in the summer as our family beach house. It is located in a cul-de-sac. We are 20 feet from our private beach which is 1/2 mile long.

The house is a wonderful two-story L-shaped garrison colonial and the location on Long Island sound is absolutely exceptional. If you check with us before hand, we will consider allowing well-behaved dogs under 50 pounds for an additional $50 per night.
