Cabin has to be one of my top 3. Everything looks brand new, and very well maintained cabin. Host was also spot on. I would recommend to anyone looking for a 1 bedroom, at a great price. 5 stars as far as I'm concerned.

Really very nice house, very clean, loved getting into the hot tub every night. Only drawback is not handicap accessible and to close to the hwy. We mostly were there just at night. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. Well worth the price. I would book this house again and again if we were back in the same location.

Hello, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. You would be welcomed back anytime. Just a couple of comments. No, the rental is not handicapped accessible and it isn't advertised as such. However, there are only about five steps to the front door and everything is all on one level making it a little easier to navigate once inside. Also, the rental is located close to Wears Valley Road. This is what gives the home its easy access and convenient location with no steep or winding mountain roads. We've mentioned this a few times in the rental description and in other reviews. That said, we're glad that you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate the kind words. Please visit us again in the future.

My wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing time on our anniversary trip while staying at The Bear Stop. The cabin was clean & beautifully decorated. Communication with the owner was outstanding! The only things we would change is possibly clearing a few trees in the backyard to allow for more of the mountain view. But that’s the ONLY thing we’d have liked better. As I said before, everything else was perfect! Thank you, Jim, for letting us share your home! We will definitely book again!

This little spot was one of the nicest places we have stayed and it was perfect for our trip. Immediately felt like home and very comfortable. Clean, spacious, well equip to do your own cooking. Games and entertainment provided for those nights where you just want to stay in and relax. The yard is beautiful and the grounds are beautifully kept. I didn’t mind at all watering the flower baskets. It was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in your rental home. I hope the next renter has as great an experience as we did. We tried to leave it exactly as we found it. Perfect!
