Great Location - Superb Hosts

Our experience with our rental actually began before we arrived in Florida. The Webbs were wonderful about answering our numerous questions about the unit and what we might need or not need to bring along with us. We found their home to be comfortably furnished and well equipped in terms of cooking equipment, and beach accessories like beach chairs and towels. The view of the mangroves along the inlet, from our porch, was very relaxing. Communication throughout the rental period was superb; we've never met the Webbs but we feel like we know them. One of the outstanding features of this rental was its closeness to Bonita Beach. We could walk there and not have to deal with parking lots. An extra advantage was being able to walk to Coconut Jack's and not have to deal with the parking there! But we were unprepared for the level of traffic and traffic related noise on Bonita Beach Road - something the residents of Plantation House agreed was way up this year, and perhaps due too the fact that there is so much construction going on and more people visiting SW Florida after the year that didn't/couldn't happen because of Hurricane Ian. In any case, that's something no one had any control over. We had a wonderful month's respite from the New England cold weather, and we thank our hosts for making their home available for us to rent.
