Great getaway! The hosts were quick to respond and super accommodating. The property was charming, well-decorated, and had an overall great vibe. Beautiful views. We'll definitely be back!

The only issue we had was some wasps nest by the pool/hottub, otherwise everything was fantastic! Very easy check in and check out and the host responds very quickly! Spacious house with a beautiful view of the delta.

Had a great stay. Enjoyed the peaceful setting after spending our days in Memphis. Home was pretty well equipped although we only made breakfast. The AC definitely works!!!!

We were in town for a family wedding and this location was only 10 minutes from the venue. House was beautiful, clean, and host was very responsive and accommodating. Master bed was a little firm for our liking but the king in the loft was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed spending time with the family here and all enjoyed swimming in the pool. The temperature was blistering hot so the pool was a great plus. We didn’t get in the hot tub due to the hot weather but it was clean and hot. The views of the lake and delta were gorgeous and we would love to stay again. Local amenities were 10-20 minutes away depending on what you’re looking for and location was very remote.

This house feels like home. My sisters and I had such a wonderful time. This host responds quickly to any questions, and was so willing to make our stay the best it could be. If you have the chance to visit this property DO IT!

A little bit early in the season for the pool, but the hot tub was appreciated daily. Lovely home, unique art and completely furnished… not one point during our stay did we need anything that wasn’t on site. They’ve thought of everything, wonderful experience!

Wonderful getaway

Finding the house and check in was super easy. The house was immaculately clean and very cozy. Loved the pool on an especially hot summer week! Perfect place to stay for visiting Memphis. The town of Hernando down the road offered great dining, and the Kroger had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place!

This was such a fantastic place to stay. Very clean and the interior was so unique! We loved the layout of the home, especially the downstairs bedroom with sitting room (perfect space for a pack and play for my 6 month granddaughter) and bathroom and all of the natural lighting within the home. The outside pool was very clean and we enjoyed playing in it with my 5 year old granddaughter. The location to Southaven and Memphis was really close, but we were far enough out of the city action to enjoy the quiet. A place we definitely will come back and visit.

Heart Attack Hangout

Our son-in-law had a heart attack scare. We rented the home and drove up from Florida. It was the perfect place for all of us to gather and be together.

Beautiful Getaway Place

The residence was absolutely beautiful and exactly as it was depicted in the photos. The location was easy to find and the check-in instructions was easy to follow. The host was very accommodating, providing several restaurant options. We had everything we needed for the three days stay. The best thing about this location was that it was isolated and quiet with a beautiful view over the farmland. It was also within 15 to 20 minutes of some of the best barbecue places that we have ever been to, along with 30 minutes drive to Memphis for day trips. We would highly recommend this location for anyone that wanted to get away for a quiet and relaxation.

Wonderful stay

We have stayed in a number of VRBO properties and this was by far the best. The attention to detail was outstanding. We have found, in the past, that when trying to secure a handicap accessible location that they don’t always take into consideration everything that is required. This was the exception as everything was designed with accessibility in mind. We will return again as we could not have been more pleased.

Awesome! Quite & beautiful!

Gilmore is so kind. He’s very knowledgeable about what he’s doing. He built this house & it’s beautiful and well thought out. The weather was a little cool to sit outside much but we made the most of it. We have rented both of his houses and enjoyed both! You can’t go wrong with either one of them! Good location either way you go. It was lovely! Thanks Gilmore for sharing your homes.
