One bedroom home in Menifee Lake is a private lake with 2.25 mile walking trail around the lake . Private home. No shared spaces. Private entrance, yard, living room and full kitchen, The bedroom has a whirlpool tub. Please note that there is no shower, just a large tub for two. Spectacular views of the back garden and lake. See the sunrise from bedroom and living room. Close to major shopping, dining. casinos and wineries nearby. Fishing at the lake which is stocked with bass, trout and catfish.

David and Emily are remarkable people I am fortunate to have met. I have been going through a lot and being able to have such a breath taking beautiful, private sliver of the world for me to recluse in has been a god send, perhaps quite literally. The home is amazing, the view is hard to put in to words and I'm just extraordinarily grateful to have had a place like this to call home. I found a beautiful house in the mountains and will take great inspiration from their lake house here as I slowly collect furniture and start that daunting process from scratch. Over all good people, lovely home, anyone would be lucky to have the opportunity to stay here.

Nice neighborhood in a good location

Nice lake neighborhood with beautiful scenery and plenty of shops and restaurants near by. Easy access to freeway. Overall our stay was great, the house was clean, comfortable and had the basics needed. Some things to take into consideration: This is someone's actual home, so be prepared to run into usual home stuff. The backyard could use some maintenance, a little overgrown and patio furniture had lots of cobwebs. The listing is for 2 bedroom 2 bath, but only has one shower, this was a little inconvenient for us. Main bath has jacuzzi, no shower. A regular coffee maker would have been nice, the basic Keurig will just get you by. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for honest review and feedback. Yes, this is out home and we enjoy sharing it with other people. It is not corporate run or management by a company. We like to have a home like feel and give travelers a personal experience as opposed to a business feel. We offer our home to guests when we are away and out of town ourselves as an alternative to only two hotels in the city of Menifee.

Good bed, note it is likely the owners' permanent home

Many VRBOs don't have great beds and pillows. This property has pretty good ones. There is no laundry, no regular coffee maker (but yes a Keurig), and no toaster so be prepared. The view onto the lake is lovely. It is however quite evident that this is the owners' permanent home and they moved out for the weekend for us to rent it. The pantry was full of food, vitamins and pills, the desk had their computer monitor and expense receipts, and while searching for batteries for a bad remote I came across money and other personal items. It was very uncomfortable. We then saw people we believe were the owners living next door and loading stuff in and out of their car. It was really strange.

We are still new to this and enjoy sharing our home when with guests when we are gone for the weekend or when out of town for business.
