Hello and welcome to my beautiful Seashell Cottage! I have recently completely renovated and remodeled this townhome for you! It has a new kitchen and bathroom, new vinyl plank flooring upstairs, new furniture and bedding throughout, and has been freshly painted. It is decorated in a turquoise beachy decor that gives you a sense of peace and tranquility the moment you step inside! There are gorgeous water views of the lake from both the first and second floor. Enjoy your private hammock on a seashell beach!

The Seashell Cottage is conveniently located near several of the Gulf Coast beaches (within 30-40 min) as well as the Sarasota airport (SRQ is 10 miles away). The townhome has a full kitchen with everything you might need, a master bath with a huge soaking tub, two bedrooms with queen sized beds, a quaint and cozy lanai with beautiful water views, and your own private hammock over a seashell beach.

You will find grocery stores, restaurants, and plenty of shopping nearby.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. There is so much to do and see and this was a great home base for our time in the Sarasota area. Our host was very responsive with any questions we had. i highly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend at Seashell Cottage. We had everything we needed and the place was very clean. The location was great for us, only a few minutes from the Premier Sports Complex where we spent most of our time but also close enough to the beach to get some beach time in the afternoons. We would definitely stay here again.

Seashell Cottage Getaway

Property was very clean, well equipped and comfortable, it appeared recently renovated. It was a convenient location with several restaurants and grocery stores minutes away and several beaches within a 20-30 minute drive. The host was very responsive to emails answering our questions. Our only complaint was that the pool was not available during our stay due to maintenance. Otherwise a nice property that we would definitely rebook.

clean & airy

when I got the "keys" notice on my email it did not have the gate code so we were not able to get in until someone came. Seems like all pertinent info should have been on that. I think she should have a sheet in the home with instructions for the gate & cleaning expectations, but that's probably just me. Turns out that was in an earlier welcome email that I received while travelling which I didn't read. The separate welcome email also told me about cleaning rules etc. which were not noted in the home, so I didn't strip the beds & carry that to laundry. Owner did notify me the day before check in that the pool was being resurfaced & I couldn't use it but that was a big reason I'd chose the place & had no time to search for another option so we went. I had to leave a day early for a work emergency and couldn't maneuver the VRBO site to let her know. So we just left and had paid for the last day anyway. .

Hello Jaime. I’m so sorry to read this review that you were unhappy with your stay. The gate code to enter the property is in the first message that I sent. It’s given right after the address of the property. Please re read our communication. My apologies you didn’t see the gate code info. Following that info I also include the house rules and cleaning info, as to what is expected when checking out of the property. Unfortunately, the complete pool renovation that was supposed to be completed iMarch 15th, was extended until the end of March. I messaged you two days prior to check in when I learned from the HOA that there had been a delay. I wish I had more control over that situation, but of course I didn’t. If you had reached out to me or messsged me regarding that you were going to have to check out early, I could have tried to help in some way, but I had no message or call from yoi. Again, my apologies that you didn’t see the pertinent information that was included in the messages that I sent to you regarding check in and check out details. Thank you again for staying at the property and taking good care of the townhome.
