We loved the house and location! Probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed! Place looks exactly like the pictures, very nice and comfortable! We hope to stay again next year!
Had a great relaxing weekend with my family. Kids loved the swimming pool. We were able to swim both days and played pool. The fire pit was cool, made smores and watched the stars. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. My older loved the basketball hoop our front too. It was a little hard to fall asleep with all the frogs maling noise at night, but otherwise we all had a great time. Definitely recommend for a quiet family getaway.

During our stay we found three snakes on the property. It was kind of scary for a us and we had to be aware all the time when we were in the patio or the pool. We had reached to the host and told it but nothing major was done. Also some of the kitchen utensils were dirty, the air frier too. Rest was good.
Home was very beautiful and comfortable, beds and pillows very comfortable, appreciated doggie door and loved the pool. Definitely will be returning really soon. Any questions I had, Victoria was very responsive and helpful.
Redding has a certain "look" and "feel" to it, and this house is spot on. The outside and inside are just right. We particularly enjoyed the front room fireplace (electric, but you can hardly tell and it put out heat). The kitchen is well appointed, and we were able to have family over for dinner in the nice dining room. A+!

Thomas,
You are incredible. Thank you so much for your kind review. I hope I have the opportunity to host you again!
This house is beautiful! We stayed for a few days in June and wish we could have stayed longer. The backyard is huge with a nice and extremely tall fence for privacy and we had our two dogs with us and we didn't have to worry about them getting out and they were very happy exploring and sniffing every inch of it. And the walking preserve located right behind the house was a huge plus and we spend a lot of time walking our dogs there. I've never seen so many dragonflies! We highly recommend and hope to be able to come for another visit.
The house was great for our family get together but it had many small issues that we needed to work out. The hot tub was leaking and was very low on water and was not hot. There were a number of electrical issues, lights not working, one switch we could not figure out, one TV not connected to the network, a few chipped plates and leaky glasses. It was hard to find the correct person to contact to fix all the issues but we had a good time none the less.

Nice neighborhood but cleanliness of house and yard were sub par.
Pros: I loved the time with my family which was the best part of the stay! The house is a good size as is the yard with plenty of space and a large pool. Cons: During our stay we encountered (inside) a urine stained comforter, a live cockroach, a live lizard, an electrical outlet faceplate missing with exposed wiring, faulty lights inside the home and garage, and a HUGE spiderweb in the corner of the eating area of the kitchen. (Outside): broken/rotted pool toys, old garbage along fence, and a huge lack of clean up from the palm trees. Our dog ate (what I know now) the sweet fruit like balls that had fallen off of the tree and were laying all around the base on the ground. They hadn’t been cleaned up before our arrival nor were we ever made aware of them even being there. A few days later, our dog had to have emergency surgery to remove one of the hard palm pits from his stomach before it entered his intestines and could have killed him. He is OK now, but the surgery cost us $5000! The homeowner and/or VRBO would not accept any responsibility, and stated that we should have cleaned them up before our dog got to them? Completely unacceptable as both the previous renters as well as myself were required to pay hundreds of dollars in cleaning fees. The homeowner also said that I never paid a pet fee and also signed a waiver. Our dog is an ESA (no fees per VRBO) and I did mention bringing him in my very first email to her.
Pet owners please be wary of this!!!

Gina was really not an ideal guest. She sent lengthy text messages about her dog (after it ate something from our massive yard) that SHE DID NOT REGISTER or pay for before arrival. This was an all around poor experience with her. She then left us a 2 star review to spite the fact that VRBO did not cover the cost of her daughter's dog surgery. This spurred on a LONG list of all the "issues" with the property. This is the kind of guest that makes hosting a nightmare.
Lost our original booking for the area and this was one of the few places left we could stay. It was pricey, but it was also last minute so understandable. Communication was great, instructions and rules were clear and simple, and the house was clean and very accommodating for what we needed. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.
