This was a great family stay. It was perfect for our family of eight. The only thing I would suggest for the property owners to make a better walk down to the dock. But that's it.

We really enjoyed our stay. This home is in a quiet, secluded area by the lake with lots of beautiful plants & woods surrounding it. The home is fabulous, lots of windows, comfortable beds, scenic views & everything you would want in a vacation home. We enjoyed our stay. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was very peaceful. The beds were so comfortable. The owner was very helpful and very understanding with us evacuating for the hurricane. We will definitely be going back.

Perfect after holiday hustle getaway!

We had a wonderful time slowing down and spending time together. The property is located on a gorgeous lake and had all we needed to enjoy our stay. We also went into Hot Springs downtown, which is approx. 20 minutes away and love Grateful Head Pizza and the Hot Springs park. Happy New Year!

No hot tub

Overall this was a great place to stay. However I was very disappointed that the listing specifically said hot tub, but it wasn’t visible in the pictures. I messaged the host and asked about it because I didn’t see it in the pictures and they responded with off the master bedroom. I thought maybe they meant on the patio, but they were talking about the jacuzzi tub. We would not have booked if I would’ve known there was no hot tub. Everything else was great.

Great location and the house was nice. The kitchen (particularly the drawers) could use a good cleaning. We have stayed in numerous VRBO's with no issues and I thought the cancellation policy and the security deposit was extreme. We were unable to locate the trashcans on the street and they charged us $150 for taking our trash out (that we grouped together and separated recycling because we couldn't find the trashcans). Disappointing.

We will address the drawers in the kitchen. We have to insist that the trash be taken to the two large trashcans located on Little Mazarn road. This is outlined in the lease agreement as well as detailed in the instructions for the lake house. We have this policy because during peak season, which is right now, we are flipping the house in four hours. The cancellation policy has been established due to past experiences when it was more flexible and we were not able to fill the days due to a late cancellation. This is a business for us and we are always looking for ways to improve our guests experiences. Thanks for your feedback.
