The property is beautiful, historic, and unique. Very close to everything you could need - shopping, food, highway access- yet is secluded in nature. The hosts were absolutely fantastic - communicative and helpful. Thoughtful touches throughout the home for guests, which has been masterfully renovated while keeping the history of the property alive. Highly recommend. We will be back!
The cozy cabin is just that! There are so many places to sit & read or have a drink and just enjoy the surroundings both inside and out! The cabin feels old but new in the best of both ways. We enjoyed every part of our stay here!!
The cozy cabin experience was a 10/10! We were welcomed with a kind note and a couple wonderful surprises! Kate provided outstanding communication during our stay whether providing helpful information, checking in with us, or providing other family member(s) to contact if needed. Too many unique features to list! The area was safe, beautiful, beds were comfy, plenty hot water for showers, washer/dryer and all the other little things one needs while staying away from home. This is a must see and stay cabin!!!
To start, the area is beautiful. The quaint property is perfect for a weekend excursion in a convenient location, minutes from everywhere you need to be. The cabin is beautiful with just the right updates, leaving enough rustic charm to make you feel like you're miles away from civilization. Kate was a great communicator and host. There was even a fresh Zucchini bread waiting for us when we arrived (for which my party devoured with much fanfare). I would highly recommend for smaller parties that want a quality stay without having to deal with the local hotels. Paco (we named the living room deer) was wonderful company as well.
This little cabin emanates historic charm but is also filled with modern amenities. Kate was very helpful in answering any questions we had about the cabin and local activities. It is clear she has worked very hard to preserve and reflect the history of the cabin but with an eye to comfort, and easy living. Everything functioned well because of her attention to detail. It feels cozy and welcoming from the moment one steps inside. We would definitely recommend it for anyone except perhaps those who have an issue with stairs. Betsy Cannon
