Years ago, when we discovered this home, it was sand-covered and neglected, but the location was priceless. Today it is a refreshing, comfortable treasure surrounded by water on three sides, with a deck opening directly onto the beach and breath-taking sunset views.

Your stay at this bright, colorful oceanfront home offers opportunities to enjoy sea breeze respites on the porch, deck or beach.
Or you can try your luck surf fishing at ocean’s edge or flounder gigging in the channel, “the honey pot” as the locals call it. Bear Island is just across the inlet and there is abundant sand for castle-building and sunning. The beach is just short of feeling completely private.

The house itself boasts lively, inspiring décor that invites gatherings in the family room, breakfast room and kitchen. In the colder months, with the fireplace ablaze, the space is intimate and cozy. The kitchen is comfortable, current and well equipped. For those who find relaxation in the latest movie offerings or sports events, the large flat screen television is at the ready. Each bedroom also has a television to accommodate differences of opinion. Both the master and guest bedroom overlook the water.

In the event that you find yourself in need of getting away from all this, a short car ride away, you’ll find a plethora of things to do. There is shopping in Swansboro, and Morehead City, fine dining and art in Beaufort, antique hunting in New Bern and Jacksonville for all the rest.

Another summer we are blessed to be able to stay at Endo Mo for our family vacation! The house was perfect as usual and no stay would be complete without some amazing sunsets, even after stormy days! We enjoyed fishing and swimming at the Point and didn't even venture over to the ocean side this year. As always, check-in was easy and the house was meticulous. Can't wait for next year's trip! Family Beach Vaca

The week was really amazing. The beach house was located at the end of Emerald Isle, the view was amazing and just perfect for our family. The house was clean and the owner was easy to contact to answer any questions we had.

Wonderful Home

The view alone was amazing…the house was very inviting and cozy with everything we could need. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and the property owner couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. The sunsets were breath taking right dead center of the back porch overlooking the water.

Another great trip to EndoMo!

This is our second year staying here and we love it! It feels so homey and the views can't be beat. We will never stay anywhere but the Point--great shells, fishing and peaceful vibes! Faye has taken great care in her home and to being a gracious host. Thank you for another wonderful vacation!

Great beach getaway

The house was as advertised, the sunsets from the deck are spectacular, the internet worked flawlessly (unfortunately for my wife she had to zoom meeting for 4 straight days). Great week on the Crystal Coast!

Cottage comfort and style

The location of this classic cottage is incredible…on the point of the island nestled in the dunes. Although our week was not the best in terms of weather, we had a great time. The cottage was charming and well appointed.

An amazing week at the Point!

What a great location and a cozy house! We’ve been coming to EI, NC as a family for more than 20 years, and our stay this year ranks as one of the best to date. The property provided all the comforts of home, with incredible views (sunsets from the porch!) and easy walking access to the beach, inlet, and sound. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Lovely beach house

This is the cleanest beach house I’ve ever rented. Amazing panoramic view from the deck. House was perfectly sized for our small group. Part of the beach is a protected bird sanctuary so I was able to do some bird watching and spotted a couple of rare species.

A little piece of heaven

We loved our stay at The Point. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated right on the water where we got to watch beautiful sunsets and even a thunderstorm. Faye, our host, was extremely responsive. We were so sad when our week was up and look forward to returning again.

Amazing View, but 20 min walk to the actual beach

The view is amazing and if that is what you are going for you will NOT be disappointed! The house is great as well - clean - no bugs, which is a HUGE plus for me. :) The walk to the beach is a 20 minutes in the sand, which can be difficult (even my 12 yr old was tired) so be ready for that!

Great vacation away from the crowds

We had a great time in Faye‘s lovely home! The location is exceptional and the views are amazing. The house is very cozy and we felt immediately at home. The deck is an awesome place to spend all your time, even during a spring drizzle (there is a separated screened part where you will not get wet or bitten by mosquitos). The beds are very comfortable and the appliances up to date. The booking experience was flawless and Faye was always very responsive. We can highly recommend this property and are looking forward to coming back some day!

Beautiful location

The house was lovely and location superb. Faye was very responsive to questions. There are just a couple of suggestions/observations - cable channel selection is very, very limited (i.e. no CNN, MSNBC, ESPN); the only toilet paper available were partial rolls on the holder. On the plus side - lots of towels/washcloths.

ONE OF A KING Wonderful Place at the end of The Point

This place is beyond spectacular! The views within the dunes from the front porch are amazing, but it really takes your breath away you step inside and open the blinds to reveal the dunes, the ocean, sound, and Bear Island. You have the options of walking to the beach or the back channel, where things change with the tides and make it so much fun to explore. The house is well-appointed and peaceful, especially in the off season when we visited. We would rent this again in a heartbeat and it's a 5-star property with a location that is nearly impossible to beat! Thanks Faye!!!

Wonderful Place

The pictures don't do this place justice! Spotless and very well kept/maintained. All the comforts or home. Nice and plentiful linens. Well stocked in the kitchen. Needed nothing but food and drink when we arrived. Lots of character and in an excellent location. Walk directly to the beach. Nice deck. We own a overnight rental and are very picky. Owner was responsive and nice. This place gets 5++ stars.

Magical! This beautiful cottage was immaculate and well appointed. The views were breathtaking, the sand clean and white, and the creek was teaming with life. We had a fantastic vacation and loved the small beach area fed by the tides off of the sound. We rented a kayak and paddle board out of Swansboro. They were delivered right to the beach where we enjoyed them for the week. This property was beautifully decorated and perfectly situated. We didn’t want to leave the cottage or The Point the entire week. Mrs. Mohorn was a gracious hostess and we appreciate the opportunity to rent her home. We look forward to going back.

Most relaxing vacation

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for a week, and neither of us wanted to leave. It was everything promised on the VRBO website, and more. A perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with morning coffee, and with a glass of wine at night watching the sunsets We rented bikes and rode around the island a bit, but otherwise we stuck close to home. Took walks on the beach and basically just relaxed. The house was very comfortable and nicely furnished. I have a picture of the view from the deck on my computer at work, so when I am having a stressful day at the office I can remember the peace and calm I felt there. We're already planning another visit.

Great location

Wow! What views!! We usually stay strictly oceanfront, so this was quite different. Surrounded on three sides by water. Was fun to watch many people fishing and the boats that would anchor in the sound. We beached it a couple days on the channel/sound side and really enjoyed it as it’s definitely a little calmer and quieter than the ocean side. But we love the ocean side too, and it is a bit of a hike over a couple dunes to get there from this home. As to the home itself, it’s beautifully decorated with large windows all around which allowed for the great views. It was so clean and very well appointed. Has a great deck with plenty of furniture which was perfect for watching the amazing sunsets. You can’t go wrong here!!

Private & Relaxing

We had a wonderful week-long stay. The view from the porch is stunning and so private. It felt so special to stay in the dunes and have a 180 degree view. I prefer a more private beach experience to a high-rise right off the ocean---and that's what this is. As many other reviews noted, the walk to the beach is about half a mile; we rented a cart to carry all our stuff. I was glad to have exercise built in to my routine! It was worth it to be nestled in the dunes. We practically had the beach to ourselves, too. Most of the people seem to be further down the Point. The house itself is beautiful, well-appointed, and very comfortable. All 5 of us slept wonderfully and we cooked all our meals in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again!
