Gite Monteil is a converted livestock building, and features including atmospheric low ceilings in parts and low door height, but that all adds to it's charm and uniqueness.

Built from local sand stone the thick walls are finished with a natural lime render that lets the walls breathe, and has been used for centuries in traditional builds. ____________._____________

Steps away from the gite is the 10.5x 4 meter pool is exclusively for your use, not shared, just imagine yourself enjoying the beautiful views and relaxing, that's what vacations are all about!_________________________________________

We are located in an area rich in activities. Historians will love the local unique 'maison périgourdine' style that the area is know for and wine lovers and foodies will enjoy trips to the local world class eateries.

There are also some lovely county walks locally, on picturesque quiet lanes and through woods, it’s a wonderful way of exploring the area.

The Space:
The main level is open plan and has a kitchenette with breakfast bar, equipped with a Fridge; washing machine/dyrer combo; oven; microwave; hob; hood; coffee maker; kettle and blender.

There is a little living area down some steps where you can watch TV or have a movie night. There is also a small wood burning stove here for cozy nights in.( seasonal)

Up the Eiffel inspired spiral stairs (these are fairly steep) on the mezzanine level you will find a bedroom with an antique French bed for two people, 140 cms wide.
Also on this level is bathroom with shower and toilet.

Your onsite hosts are always available and accommodating and are more than happy to provide information on excursions and activities in the area.
At the same time we give you privacy and you have private use of the pool during your stay, but bear in mind we do live onsite next door.

There is a spiral stairs to the bedroom.
There are steps to the lower level small seating area.
Private parking but quite steep car access as the property is situated on an elevated site.

Bed and house linen are provided, bed will be made upon arrival, all you have to do is put the suitcases down. We also provide pool and bath towels.
