About this property

Comfortable and inviting 1890 colonial centrally located in Hopewell Junction NY. This 2 bedroom 1.5 bath house boasts original wide plank pine floors, a dedicated office space, stocked with a wireless printer, office supplies, and a futon which sleeps two. The beautiful outdoor space has a patio with an outdoor fireplace and seating for 5, iwhich includes a generous yard for outdoor games. Bring your bikes and snowshoes as we are located only steps away from Dutchess Rail Trail.
The space
The home has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and a private office with a newly renovated 1/2 bath and laundry area. The fully-stocked kitchen has a gorgeous butcher block breakfast bar, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine and cheese. A Keurig coffee maker is provided along with a selection of coffee and tea. The kitchen faucet has a water filter to use for coffee or filling water bottles. Additional dining is available in the bright sunporch which overlooks the backyard. The private office space is perfect for those working remotely. Since the home is on Route 376 there is some road noise, however it is quieter on the patio in the backyard. House is professionally cleaned and checked by me personally before check-in, but if things are not perfect please contact me through the app.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and yard as well as two spots to the right side of the driveway. The left side is reserved for the guest who resides in the cottage on the property. No on-street parking is allowed.
The basement and attic are not for guest use. Stay off and please keep children off of the outdoor Bilco doors leading to basement.
Other things to note
Town Noise Curfew is 10:00 so if enjoying the outdoors be considerate of neighbors. This home is over 100years old and so are the floors which have some minor imperfections. We suggest you wear slippers in the house and we provide a basket of slipper/socks for your comfort if you choose to wear them (they are laundered after each guest departs).

Charming and very accommodating!

We enjoyed our stay! What drew us first was the convenient location for our trip. The home is charming and decorated to match, just lovely! We appreciated having a king bed, 1.5 bathrooms and office space. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with coffee, tea etc. Nice back yard area. Laura made herself readily available if we had any questions. She was extremely thoughtful and provided personal attention, really going above and beyond. There are several great restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store etc. We also appreciated that all the neighbors were quiet :)

Adorable, cozy abode!

This house is perfectly situated near local colleges, the rail trail, etc. Our family of four was very comfortable and enjoyed the clean, cozy decor and all of the fall touches throughout the house. Great communication with the property manager. We loved it!

Charming space!

The house is a lovely combination of old-school charm and modern conveniences, with a great location to boot. Our stay was perfect - we'll definitely be returning!
