About this property
Large mountain home, incredible views, hot tub, game room, minutes from Jackson!
Discover a retreat where nature and comfort intertwine. Our expansive home, nestled on 2.2 acres, backs directly onto the Bridger-Teton National Forest. A mere stone's throw from Jackson, Teton Village, and Yellowstone, this idyllic hideaway is a gateway to unforgettable outdoor adventures - from world-class fishing and cross-country skiing to thrilling snowmobiling and invigorating hikes.
Settle in after a day of exploration and enjoy our secluded hot tub, offering spectacular wildlife sightings. Cozy up with a glass of wine by the wood stove or take advantage of Starlink for a seamless remote work experience.
Bathed in natural light, our home's main living area is a sanctuary of relaxation with its vaulted ceilings and mesmerizing valley views. Whip up gourmet meals in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with dining service for 16. The round dining table seats eight with ease, extending to accommodate over twelve, complemented by additional bar seating.
Descend to our vast game room, a hub of entertainment equipped with a pool table, foosball table, and large TV - an ideal haven for kids and a peaceful respite for adults. The house comes stocked with an assortment of games, puzzles, cards, books, and more for your leisure.
The garage not only houses three oversize bays to secure your vehicles and outdoor gear, but also hosts a ping pong table for friendly competitions. For your snow-themed fun, we provide 4 sets of snowshoes and sleds.
Outdoors, relish in the refreshing Wyoming air in the side yard, where a fire pit awaits for twilight storytelling and s'more making. Savor a cookout on the large deck, equipped with a robust stainless Weber gas grill.
Feel at home with full access to the house and garages, excluding one closet in the attached primary bedroom bathroom – our personal belongings need a spot too!
Venture into the National Forest, just a brisk five-minute walk down the road or right from the house. Fish in the nearby Fall Creek or Snake River, a short five-minute drive away.
For winter visits, we recommend AWD, 4x4, or good snow tires for the driveway. Alternatively, road parking in front of the house offers an easy solution just yards from the front door.

About the host
Hosted by Tristan and Martina Harper
Martina, a travel nurse, and I, a recovering attorney, have traveled extensively using peer to peer rental platforms over the past 8 years. We love travel, love the human interaction that VRBO provides, and we appreciate getting to share the special places we have homes. In our free time you'll find us outdoors, hiking Glacier National Park, fishing the Snake River, or boating in Pensacola.
We consider ourselves social people, enjoy helping guests, and have had great experience through VRBO and other platforms. If we can do anything to help, please reach out.
Why they chose this property
We adore the Red Top neighborhood for its harmonious blend of wilderness charm and accessibility. Here, you're privy to nature's grandeur - a realm of diverse wildlife, untouched forests, and endless adventure, all right at your doorstep. Our property nestles against the Bridger Teton National Forest, a treasure trove offering boundless opportunities for cross-country skiing, hiking, ATV riding, and snowmobiling. It's a haven of tranquillity, spanning hundreds of thousands of acres of breathtaking wilderness.
Yet, despite this seclusion, vibrant downtown Jackson is a mere 25-minute drive away. You can effortlessly transition from daytime exploration in nature's playground to a lively night out in the town's eclectic mix of eateries, bars, and cultural spots. In the Red Top neighborhood, you truly get the best of both worlds!
What makes this property unique
Sit on the front deck, enjoy the views down the valley, relax in the secluded large hot tub, hike up the hill behind the house into the national forest, have dinner in Jackson and spend the evening around the firepit in the side yard, or sip wine in front of the wood stove after a day hiking the national parks. Whatever you decide, you'll find our home comfortable, inviting, well appointed, and in one of the most unique and beautiful settings available anywhere.
