Pretty well maintained property, comfortable bed, everything well equipped. Close to downtown, yet protected from noise, and set in the beautiful Lake Hills of Bellview. Minutes to Lake Sammish. Definitely consider staying again in the future.

It was a great location for us. Close to where we needed to be our family and our wedding. It was not far from the airport and sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again
I had a wonderful stay at Max’s vrbo. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Max was extremely responsive and helpful, providing all the information I needed promptly. I highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

Description of the property should state that there is a flight of stairs to the living quarters. Carpeting and furniture could be upgraded. Very quiet neighborhood. Worked for our purposes.

This home was a perfect size for our family of four. Owners are on property(separate home) and even though we didn’t have a need for anything, our brief interactions with them were very nice and they made sure to ask if we had everything we needed! We were in WA for a family vacation and stayed one week. We’d definitely stay here again! Thank you to the host for their hospitality
The stay was great! Nice, quiet neighborhood with everything you need within a 10-minute drive. Loved the lake access! The townhouse was clean and nearly kept. Hot water worked quickly and the washer and dryer were incredibly convenient. Bed was comfy. Owners were friendly the few times I encountered them. If I had to offer a suggestion, it would be a colander in the kitchen and maybe a swiffer for downstairs. I will likely be back to this property when working in the area!
This was a great townhome and I would stay again. I am in the area often for work in Bellevue and this is a great alternative to high hotel prices. Cons: Bathroom could have been slightly cleaner with both the tub and bathroom sink not draining properly. Neutral: I can't speak to the previous comments about it being cold since it was a warm September day, but there were directions available to both heat and cool the townhome. PROS!!: Great location with a grocery story nearby, private and safe entry to unit, very easy instructions for entry/wifi/amenities.
I will stay again!

Critical details overlooked
Safety features such as carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors were missing. There was only 1 bed. This place is not kid safe even though it says it is. There are fireplaces in the images, but they’re not usable. The place is freezing.

Decent place. Not enough heat downstairs. Not as close to park/lake as we thought
Overall decent place to stay but could have provided more towels, coffee and a heater to heat downstairs past 65 degrees. It was too cold in downstairs of unit. The space heater provided didn’t cut it. I’m sure I’m warm months it would be fine. The kids were also disappointed that it was so far from the lake and park which were in the photos and why they picked the house.
This was our second stay at this property. We love the location—it’s in a quiet, convenient area close to our family, and it fits our family of four perfectly. The price point is great, especially compared to similar options nearby.
That said, the unit felt a bit more worn this time around. While the sheets smelled freshly laundered, they were heavily pilled and not very comfortable. There were a few cleanliness concerns too—most notably a spot on the wall going up the stairs that looked like chocolate (at least we hope it was) and on the wall in other areas of the home. It didn’t feel quite as clean or well-kept as during our first visit.
The home could definitely benefit from some updates, but that’s more about aesthetics than comfort. Overall, the stay still worked well for our needs, and we appreciate the affordability and layout. We’d consider staying again, especially with a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness.

It was a bit frustrating at arrival. Directions indicated by "patio furniture" but there wasn't any. We had to park on the street (next to fire hydrant). There was left over food and condiments in the refrig and the outlets did not work at first in the kitchen and bath. It was later fixed, but a difficult first night and morning. The furniture was worn, fireplace not working, and many of the draws and cabinets in the kitchen not useful due to location of the "stairs" leading to the bedroom and A/C unit in middle of kitchen. The advertisement stated outside area, yet what looked like patio doors were locked with a sign of "restricted access - do not enter". It served its purpose for attending an out of town event, but would not choose to stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Max
We’re Max and Ellen, a husband-and-wife team who love sharing this corner of the Pacific Northwest with our guests. We’re raising two young boys here, and as a family we’re happiest outdoors — hiking the local trails, catching a game, or just exploring everything the area has to offer. We live right next door, so we’re always close by if you need anything during your stay, while still giving you plenty of privacy and space to yourselves. We put a lot of care into making this place comfortable and welcoming, the kind of place we’d want to stay ourselves, and we love helping guests feel at home while they discover what we love about Bellevue and the greater Seattle area. Whether you’re here to explore, visit family, or simply relax, we’re glad to host you.
Why they chose this property
We chose this quiet Bellevue neighborhood for its peaceful, tucked-away feel. The home sits on a cul-de-sac, so there’s almost no through-traffic — just the calm of a friendly residential street where you can actually hear the birds. Towering cedar trees and flowering plants surround the property year-round, always lush and green with something in bloom. It’s the kind of place where you can take an evening walk and unwind. You’re surrounded by greenery yet still minutes from everything Bellevue and the greater Seattle area have to offer — shopping, dining, parks, and an easy drive to downtown Bellevue, Redmond, and Seattle.
What makes this property unique
safe, and remarkably quiet, with no passing traffic to disturb your stay. The grounds are a real highlight: large cedar trees, vibrant flowering plants that stay lush and blooming throughout the year, and plenty of patio space out front to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the evening. Inside, the home is bright and welcoming, with large windows that frame the lush outdoor views and fill the space with natural light. Comfortable, well-appointed living areas make it easy to unwind after a day of exploring, and the layout works just as well for a family getaway as for a longer stay. It’s a peaceful, private retreat that’s hard to come by this close to the city.
