Our Maine Tatnic House will become your home away from home in southern coastal Maine!

Bright, open concept home in serene setting with large, modern, fully-equipped kitchen (20'x21') breakfast bar, sitting area. Extra long dining table seats 8 comfortably. Wood, tile and carpeted floors. New, lodge style, comfy furnished living room with satellite TV service, internet access and electric piano. Very large master bedroom w 3/4-bath. 2 add'l bedrooms and full bath. Laundry room.

Beaches, trolley, theaters, restaurants and shopping galore, just a short drive.
In the heart of the Mt. Agamenticus region, the property's surrounding area features many interesting natural features and great places to hike. Elevation of southern coastal Maine rises only about ~650ft above sea level but from the summit of Mt. A you can see the Presidential Range in New Hampshire on a clear day, and, of course, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Perfect for 2 or three couples and families.

Well-behaved dogs welcome.

Great family house w/ big yard

This was our second year at this house and it was a great place for our family. It’s close enough to drive to the beaches but out of the way enough so you are not on top of the neighbors.

Great Maine Vacation!

We had a wonderful week at the Maine Tatnic House. Nancy and Parker were great hosts. The house was well stocked - great kitchen setup. Everything was clean and perfect for our family of four. Great location, too. We can't wait to stay here again!

Old home with modern flare.

Looks can be deceiving. This house is just the location for a family vacation. More than enough room and a homey feel to it Master bedroom and bath were fantastic and kitchen looked newly remodeled with state of the art appliances. If you like nature this is the place to be.

We had a great vacation! The house was even better in person than the pics. It’s also bigger than it looks from the outside. Backyard is big and beautiful as well. It had everything we needed and we liked being in a private area away from busy route 1. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Tatnic house

This house was perfect for us (4 adults). The location is private yet only a couple miles from the beach. We had everything we needed and the house was spacious and very clean. Our host was readily available and made sure we knew of all amenities included.

This property is beautiful, far enough away from Rt 1 to be peaceful, close enough so that your not far from town. Has everything you need.Definitely a wonderful place to relax and will definitely return if allowed.

Beautiful property/Great location

The house was the perfect vacation rental. When we arrived we were pleased to find everything sparkling clean and the furnishings were lovely and comfortable. There was room for everyone, including the kids, to spread out and find a private space. We came prepared with bags of supplies and were delighted to find the cabinets stocked with almost every possible cooking necessity. The backyard is special. Beautifully groomed grounds and an amazing space for kids, dog and adults to enjoy dinner around the grill or just playing around. And it's a great location, close to beaches but away from Route 1 traffic.

Perfect for family and dogs

Our first few days there were 6 adults 1 toddler and an infant. There was plenty of room for everyone. Close to many great restaurants and shopping. Beautiful home. Would definitely return.

Tatnic House

This is a great family vacation house. It's roomy, has a well-equipped and stocked kitchen. Grounds around house offer lots of play area and there are plenty of lawn games. It is over 2 miles to any beach though, and to walk or bike with children that distance on Tatnic Rd is impossible.

Great Family Vacation Home

This was our second time staying at the Tatnic House. This property is located in a quiet, rural area away from the traffic of Route 1 yet close enough to many restaurants and beaches in the Wells-Ogunquit area. Ogunquit Beach, our favorite beach is 10 minutes away. The house is neat, clean, and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and enough room for 6 adults, four young children, and a dog. A great place to relax

The house was great - away from the rush of tourists yet close enough to enjoy what Ogunquit and Wells have to offer. The back way into town was convenient to avoid the weekend traffic on #1. The kitchen was well equipped and the common areas and bedrooms very comfortable. The fire pit and "back 40" were an added bonus. I would recommend the Tatnic house to anyone.

Country at the beach

Our family of 8 enjoyed Tatnic house's homey, cozy feel. The house is large and well stocked. We enjoyed a campfire, grilling, at night and our dogs enjoyed the yard. We found a beautiful beach nearby.(FOOTBRIDGE BEACH) Many stores and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy quiet nights minutes from fun.
