Proximity to beaches and casinos! Cozy cabin with plenty of room for everyone!

Hi , thank you for the honest feedback and for staying with us. I'm sorry the heat made the bedrooms uncomfortable at night. The house doesn't have AC, which we do note in the listing, though we do provide fans to help keep things comfortable. I completely understand it was still a tough night, especially with bears around meaning the windows couldn't stay open overnight. On the bathrooms, 2 of the 4 were recently remodeled, and updating the rest of the house is on our list, so your comments are really helpful as we plan those next steps. As painful as that is to read, I really appreciate you taking the time to write a review so we can learn from our mistakes. I am also truly sorry your family had to deal with this. Vacation rentals that sleep 18 people week after week are different from a residential home in that things get broken / fixed, most often replaced, on an ongoing basis. The things you mentioned happened just a few days prior and we had a new, temporary housecleaner that didn’t report any of the issues to the maintenance team. I am so sorry you had to deal with a broken drawer and a wobbly bench/bunk beds, which is something that would never normally occur. Regarding the bedding we ALWAYS use clean bedding and pillows. Cleanliness is extremely important to us. These are things we regularly replace. In fact, we have a locked supply cabinet at the house containing new linens and pillows, but unfortunately the new (no longer working here) cleaner chose not to replace the pillow. I inspected all of them and found one that should have been replaced. As for the hot tub, that is quite puzzling because it gets professionally cleaned in between each guests stay. We have had hundreds of people over the past few years use it and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of something like this happening (I am sorry!). The weekend you and your family stayed, I had left a note with my phone number and the maintenance number. (It’s also written down inside the house) The day after you checked in, I emailed your group asking how things were going. I personally left a voice mail and our maintenance crew texted the person who rented the house to make sure they had their number handy at all times (we do this with every guest) Had we gotten a single response I would have had someone over there in about 10 minutes to bring it up to our standard, and or potentially offered another property. The house is professionally cleaned each and every time guest's come and stay per Covid-19 guidelines. Our goal is to make certain guests have a fun experience each and every time. House does have new mattresses and any old worn out furniture gets replaced. Most of our ratings are 5 stars. We also tell guests, after check in, if for any reason you are Not satisfied in any way to let us know immediately so we can promptly address any issues we may have missed.
