This property is spotless and comfortable. It was perfect for our group of 5 women, as there were 5 beds and 3 bathrooms. Great kitchen with coffee bar. Nice, safe location close to fun attractions.
The place was just what our family needed for the weekend with a wedding nearby. It had nice big bedrooms and plenty of bathroom space. We really enjoyed our stay!
Brittany is incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and answered any questions I had before, during, and after our stay. The front door keypad was dead initially, and she made sure we had a back up key/replaced the batteries the next morning. It was a perfect place to have my friends and family under the same roof for a cozy bachelorette trip! Would totally come back again!!
We loved the House on Main. Everything was perfect with this quaint house. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, it is a great value! Its location is also perfect with many places within walking distance.
Will definitely stay here again if travelling to this area in the future!
This home was a great choice for our family and perfect location while in town for a wedding at White Iron Ridge. Host was easy to contact and even had the home decorated for Christmas! We would stay here again for sure. Only small comment is I’d really like to have had a full length mirror in the house, maybe on back of a bathroom door.
Excellent VRBO! Clean, tidy, nice layout, well-stocked, and the perfect location. Smithville is a darling little town, and the location of the house on Main Street allows you to walk to shops and restaurants. The owners are lovely, and respond immediately to questions and inquiries. I would definitely stay in that home again.
The great property for a large group! It was super close to the white ridge wedding venue where we had a wedding to attend on Friday night. My only suggestion would be to get a toaster. Thanks!
My family and I booked Brittany’s property for a wedding at the White Iron Ridge. The location was perfect at 7 min from the venue.
Arriving at the property it looks unassuming but as soon as you walk in it’s just beautiful! Very clean, with attention to detail throughout. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need from pots and pans to fully stocked keurig coffee pods and creamer!
With a group of 8, the space was perfect. Each bedroom had plenty of room and the comfiest beds, as well as great pillows!! My biggest complaint will always be cheap pillows so that was a great surprise haha.
The bathrooms were super clean, with toiletries available and light up mirrors which was awesome for a group of mostly women!
I did not get the chance to walk and explore the town but my family did walk to a local donut shop, they said it was nice.
We took advantage of the nice weather and the patio furniture in the backyard, having coffee outside every morning.
Brittany was super helpful with any question I threw at her, sending me places I could try to get last minute wedding accessories. She was prompt with her responses and very kind.
The only thing I would suggest adding is a clothing iron. Luckily we brought a steamer so everything was fine.
Overall, I’m super happy we picked this place to stay, it was perfect and I did not get that “I can’t wait to be back home” feeling which is rare for me!

This house looks even better inside than the pictures show. It’s only two blocks from a great little downtown area. We walked for ice cream, coffee, shopping and a bar with music and food. I would definitely stay here again. I would also love whoever did interior design on this place to help me with my home.
My family and I (a mini-reunion—sisters from Texas and Arkansas, and my kids from Nebraska) all met in Smithville. The home was as beautiful as shown in the listing, and we were very happy to find that it was a short distance from the front door to the nice little downtown area, with good BBQ, a sports bar and grill, and gift shops all within a 10 minute walk.
We stayed at this house when we went to see Taylor Swift at the Arrowhead Stadium. We had a large group and the house was perfect for us to all fit comfortably! It was near all the KC spots to visit but not in the city which was nice. The area was very nice and we would stay here again!
Our stay could not have been any better, Brittany responded to every need that we had, the house was immaculate, the beds were comfy, the house is in a cute neighborhood across the street from a park, in the proximity to the wedding venue that we were using was perfect. I could not recommend any more highly! I literally would not change a thing!!
