I rarely review anything, only under the worst or best circumstances. This is one of the best properties in which we’ve ever stayed. There are others that were bigger, more fancy and expensive, more exotic locales…but I had never walked into one and it felt like a home and not a house. First word that comes to mind: textures. They nailed the textures. I’m more a barefoot sasquatch on vacation than a human, and my feet were greeted with the softest, most pleasing textiles and flooring and furniture. Everything felt like something I would buy for my own home. Next word: efficiency. Layout and furnishings complimented and completed the home. It was neither overstuffed nor bereft of anything in particular. Again, it felt like my own home…no wasted space, and no overcrowded feel to the layout and furnishings. Last word: s’mores. The s’mores pack was a welcome treat, the whole gift bucket was, in fact. The smallest gesture can make the biggest impact. That’s it, my longest review ever. Glad it was a good one.
