Pros and cons. A good amount of space for a surprise birthday party with lots of guests. Kitchen and upstairs accommodated a lot of people. Kitchen had ample supplies. Floors could have used a better deep cleaning and shower downstairs look like somebody dumped a dirty bucket of water in it with lots of grit in it and just forgot to rinse it out. No hot tub is that we saw that was on the list and grill with filthie. The room in the breezeway has a funky smell so it just needs some deep cleaning and maybe better lighting outside because went to our cars at night it was hard to see. It's a good location.
We had a great time staying here. It was nice not to be in a hotel and we could make our own meals. We enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement. We would stay here again.
The house had a lot of room which made it easy for us to spread out and relax before we had to get ready for the wedding.

Ryan was great we were disappointed that we couldnt use the hot tub. The basement was too cold for us to hang out so it was a little cramped but worked out with pets.
A very pleasant stay. The place was clean and exactly how the pictures said it would be. The TV remotes didn’t have batteries in any bedroom. The dryer didn’t seem to dry that well.
Great location as a home base for our daughter’s wedding at Swan Lake in Powell! Very clean and comfortable property. Simply but nicely decorated and had all that we needed. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. Good communication with owners who were great at accommodating checkin and checkout.
Our entire family stayed here for my son’s wedding at Brookshire venue. It’s only 1.3 miles away. Clean, plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend
Communication was on point and location was great. Beautiful scenery out back and saw lots of wildlife. If you plan on cooking a large meal you may want to bring additional kitchen items.
The check-in process was very easy with Ryan and the house was clean upon entry. They plan to do additional exterior updates and would be a great home for families Looking for a quiet get away close to Columbus.
Very nice large home to rent for out of town wedding/events
Overall a great place to stay. Would stay again. Beautifully decorated. Could have been cleaner (Coffee grounds from previous renter still in pot, around baseboards dirty, etc) Beds were listed as double beds were actually futons and not real comfy. Yard was mowed but needed some weeding/landscaping.
Contacted the host about WiFi password and he desponded very quickly.
We were staying for our daughter’s wedding. The location was perfect. The house was really nice, plenty of room for everyone. The only problem we experienced was the hot tub was cold and slimy. ( not useable )
5 adult couples (i.e., 10 people total) in our family (including parents, grandparents, aunt/uncle, & siblings of the bride) very comfortably stayed here for 4 nights for a wedding at Scioto Reserve Country Club. This was the perfect place. Plenty of space, including plenty of parking for everyone's cars; 10 minutes from the venue; inside upgraded, especially the bathrooms; great outdoor space. And Ryan was so quick to respond to any questions we had. We HIGHLY recommend and would very happily stay here again. Thanks Ryan!
In town for a long weekend to attend a family wedding . Spent a few evenings out on the comfortable , very private back deck watching fireflies and enjoying the view. Had our morning coffee listening to the doves . We’d planned to enjoy the fire pit below the large oak tree but didn’t have time. I would recommend adding room darkening curtains over the blinds in the master, as the morning sun makes it difficult to sleep past 6:00. Beds were comfy!
Check in was very easy. The host was easy to contact, responsive, respectful, and kind. The home was beautiful, great for a large family get together. It was chic and comfy. I love all the seating there is to offer. The ping pong table was an absolute hit and I never would have guessed it would have been so popular!
During our stay, we had a challenging time with the hot tub, and the host came to fix it very quickly. I really appreciated that! They’re such nice people.
I have no complaints- and I would definitely rent again!
Five adult sisters ,one spouse and three small dogs enjoyed 3 nights at this home and never felt crowded! All the bedrooms, bathrooms, tv’s that spread over 2 floors with a large outdoor area gave us room to move when we weren’t cozied up in the livingroom. Everything you needed was provided in the kitchen to cook with, and supplies for bathrooms. Hot tub looked inviting but we never got around to getting in! The beds were very comfortable and linens high quality. Owner very prompt to answer a few questions. We really appreciated that even little details were provided( even coffee!).
You won’t be dissatisfied if you stay here!
Our family of 9 (ages 55-90) had a very nice stay at this home. The layout was such that we could easily all be together for a celebration of life gathering. Ryan is an excellent host and communicator. When we needed anything, he was very quick to respond. Everyone thought their beds were comfortable, but not the futons. When the arms are folded down, there is a bar that hits the middle back and there isn't much padding to make them comfortable. Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue for children, but it wasn't a great option for mature adults. We enjoyed the outdoor space in the back although, from the pictures, we thought the home was going to be in a private, secluded spot. It is actually located off a busy road and your view in the back is of beautiful large homes in a new subdivision. There is ample parking for all the guests and the bath products and coffee pods provided were much appreciated.

Thumbs down!
The property accommodated our group nicely but a few concerns popped up during our stay. First night we saw a mouse in the lower level, first morning we turned on the oven and a gas smell was strong so we called. They came that day to check it out and gave it the “all clear.” We never did find the TV remote for the upper living area and some bedroom remotes had no batteries? Little things like the above made the stay a little chaotic. Would not rent this property again.
This home is close to shopping, restaurants, and activities. The beds were comfortable and there was a nice living room area for gathering. It's not as rural as the photos might lead you to believe, but that's not necessarily a negative. We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled check-in time, and there was a gentleman still cleaning. He thought we were checking in at 9 PM, not 3 PM. He was very kind, and we put our groceries in the fridge and then sat in our car while he finished. It wasn't a huge issue, but I'm not sure where the miscommunication happened. The only other issue was the hot tub. It was not usable. The water was greenish and had a funky odor. We cleaned the filter but were never able to use it. Overall, our group of 9 ladies enjoyed the home and wouldn't hesitate to book again. The price was reasonable and we were all satisfied with the accommodations.
Our family came in from all over to stay at this property and surprise our mom for her birthday. Overall, the property and location were great for the purpose.
A few things could be improved: when we arrived no house lights were on including for the porch and we communicated we’d be arriving after dark. That made the walk up to the house a little less welcoming. Once we entered, the house seemed to be relatively clean, but two smoke detectors were chirping indicating low battery. I had to climb up and disable them so we could sleep that first night and then make a trip to the store to replace the batteries myself. As for the kitchen, it’s functional, but lacks much in terms of a functioning kitchen. We had to supplement with serving utensils, mixing bowls, cup measure, and even cooking items like a 9x13 glass dish. Luckily Walmart was close, but still.
The backyard was great and the pond with its many frogs was a huge hit for our toddler niece and nephew. We had deer visitors each morning grazing on the acorns in the backyard. That was fun. We had two small dogs with us and the property was great for them both — no issues there. The backyard furniture was really nice to have and we spent most of our time outside. The outdoor dining table, though, is a little rickety and so we had to be especially careful when sitting there to not cause the table to wobble and feel like it would fall over.
Inside, the beds were comfortable enough, the room sizes were good too!
