Greeley vrbo
Worked for our group of chorus singers in town for a coaching weekend. The basement stairs are very narrow, the actual depth of the stair tred. and barefoot you can feel the carpet strip thru the carpet. Kitchen very well appointed. Living room has a very flimsy coffee table with mirrors that could be very dangerous for children. Mirror was actually cracked when someone set a bag on it as we were leaving. Lucky no one was hurt. Very comfortable beds.

Being from Colorado, we are naturally outdoor enthusiasts. Our family skis, mountain bikes, hikes, backpacks and kayaks throughout the year. We love exploring every corner of Colorado, including the various cities and towns. After a long day of wilderness adventures we head into a nearby town to find some local grub.

Emily is by trade a professional property manager and business consultant. Cameron is a robotics engineer. Between the two, we run our vacation homes with the goal to provide a memorable trip for every guest. Our girls come with us to restock supplies and upkeep our properties to learn what hard work looks like. The eldest has become quite good at painting and putting together furniture!

We hope to have the opportunity to host you at one of our various Colorado vacation homes soon!

Why they chose this property

Greeley is a unique town, built upon agriculture and ranching roots. Today it is best known for the University of Northern Colorado and popular annual events throughout the year, such as the Greeley Stampede. While Greeley has grown substantially over the past 5 years, it still has the small town charm which we adore.

Emily has a love for historic houses and while visiting Greeley, we soon decided to look for our own here. Our 100+ year old craftsman bungalow is located in the historic Glenmere neighborhood, surrounded by other gorgeous vintage homes. With original wood floors and hardware, and extra tall ceilings, we new this was the one. It had been updated in some ways before we bought it, but it still had a lot of work to be done. The electrical was old and underpowered for today's modern amenities, so we redid all of it. We painted, built a new kitchenette in the basement, completely redid the front landscaping, and so much more. All of this was done by us and our family on weekends over two months. It was a ton of work but we are thrilled with the result!
