The property is very unique and conveniently situated in Greeley. The house was spotless and extremely well appointed. It is an older/historic type home so be ready for some creaky floors, narrow stairs, and tricky door knobs. If you can look past those type of quirks, this is the perfect house. The home is located very near UNC campus, so perfect for someone visiting a student or bringing a student to school for the first time. But also, be aware of that when looking for lodging during the school year. That may bump up the traffic or noise in the area. We were there in July, so neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful for us to visit family in the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Greeley Cottage

Great property, comfortable and clean. You can walk to everything from here and the home had everything we needed for our visit with our children and grandchildren.

What a lovely home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication was excellent, and the house exceeded our expectations. I love sharing details that help future guests know what to bring. This was hands down the best-stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in! The kitchen had spices, oil, coffee, creamer, sugar, and pantry staples. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and plastic wrap. No need to shop for essentials! Appliances included a nice microwave, 4-slice toaster, drip coffee maker, and gas stove. No blender or mixer. The refrigerator was great, but the ice maker didn't work, so plan to buy ice. There are no bedroom TVs, but both living rooms have nice TVs. The washer and dryer were excellent, with detergent and fabric softener provided. The fenced backyard was smaller than expected. It was fine for our standard poodle but too small for running. It would be ideal for a smaller dog. Neighboring dogs barked whenever ours went outside. Our only real complaint was the back porch lighting. We reported it our first night, and someone came three days later, but it wasn't fixed. The motion light only activates after you've reached the bottom of the steps, leaving the stairs dark. My husband actually tripped on them.Despite that issue, we loved the home and would absolutely stay again. Next time we'll bring a flashlight!

This was a great place for our team! We had plenty of space to spread out. We appreciated the kitchen being stocked well and having a grill out back to use as well. The host was very responsive throughout our stay. Thank you!

Cozy and Roomy

We were surprised by all the rooms available in the Charming Cottage. We each had our own bedroom and even two separate "living" areas. The squeaky floors were a reminder of the charm of older houses and brought back memories for all of us. While we were out most of the day, it was nice to come back to this abode for a restful night in a quiet neighborhood. Recommend highly.

Nice property in quiet neighborhood that is close to UNC. My daughter was attending a swim camp at UNC and it only took a few minutes to drop her off in the morning. Kitchen has enough cookware and utensils to cover basic cooking….we mostly did breakfast at the house. Nice outdoor patio in back yard. Only issue was the fire detector would fall off in the middle of the night and wake us up. Maintenance came to fix it but just used a sticky strip to push it on the ceiling again. It fell down that night again. We left it on the dresser and notified the company upon check-out so it wouldn’t keep waking us up. Other than that, great property and would stay here again.
