This is our second time staying at Carole’s cottage. It’s an absolutely perfect place to stay while in Eugene for a football game. We parked the car and walked everywhere. There are multiple restaurants, bars, and breweries within walking distance. It’s a perfect setup for two people in a quiet, picturesque neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great little space in a quiet, secluded area. We had yogurt, fruit and homemade granola waiting for us when we arrived. Great selection of coffees and teas. Even decaf! Close to the Saturday and Farmers market. Host was friendly and welcoming. Great little restaurant just around the corner.

The backyard cottage is the perfect size for 2 travelers in a beautiful, walkable location. The kitchen had all the amenities and was kept very neat and tidy. Carole had freshly cleaned the cottage prior to our arrival and was very flexible with our travel times. We had a lovely stay!

Wonderful place to stay in Eugene while visiting the University with my son! Carole is a fabulous host. The cottage is comfy, well-equipped and immaculate. Beautiful garden, coffee and breakfast … so much better than staying in a hotel. The neighborhood is very charming and quiet, and it’s a 25 minute walk to U of O campus. I highly recommend staying here!

Carole‘s place was beautifully appointed and had everything a visitor could want. All kinds of dishes for cooking, all the utensils, a very large and excellent TV with many channels provided. Excellent control of the temperature via a mini split system, terrific bathroom with soaps and towels galore. Excellent location downtown where one can walk to many different restaurants, bars, bike paths, and walking paths,, etc. Easily the most beautiful garden in the neighborhood with a plethora of flowers.Over and above that, Carole provided four, yes, four coffee makers of different kinds — to delight any coffee enthusiast.Finally, Carole was the most able, the most gracious host we have ever had the privilege to stay with. And we have stayed many places around the world. This was the best.
