The property had everything we needed, with ample room for a big family group. The kitchen was well equipped and the stove made my foodie brother happy. The view was unbeatable.
Beautiful home with great views of the ocean. Plenty of comfortable sleeping areas and bathrooms for our big group, with a large kitchen/living room area. Host was very responsive to messages and any questions we had.
We had a 80th birthday celebration of our mom enjoyed by our four-generation family. The luxury house was a treat for everyone and had everything for any age person to enjoy. It was a pleasure to cook and entertain in the spacious kitchen, living room and a huge deck with a spectacular view.
It is located on a property that is a bit challenging to get to, but the view is unsurpassed. The house is brand new, and the amenities are first class. Any issues we had were happily taken care of by the host.
Hot tub and fire pit areas and living room taking advantage of the incredible view were awesome. Even enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit in the rain thanks to the nice covering. The house was huge with plenty of space for our multi-generational group. Heated floors in the bathrooms were a lovely touch. There was a trailhead for one of the provincial parks very close by. The place was a 15-20 min ride from anywhere in town so it’s a little inconvenient to go back and forth during the day. Be aware that to get to Highway 4 you do have to go all the way into Qualicum and back out - there’s no connection by car in the community. Definitely a place you can feel very private in. Kitchen was large - equipment in the drawers were a bit haphazard but we were able to cook meals at the house without much problem - grill worked great and plenty of propane was provided.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect - close to all the attractions we wanted to visit, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The house itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with plenty of space for my friends to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking meals a breeze. Our favourite part was the backyard oasis: a lovely patio where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening barbecues. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive to all our inquiries. We can't wait to return next year and make more memories in this charming home-away-from-home!

The house and amenities are top notch. We were there for a three-generation family weekend. Very comfortable. Great to have the extra blowup mattresses for the teenagers. The view is 180 with a huge deck area. Hot tub was clean and fully functional. Kitchen was fully equipped. We'd like to go back.
We got together with our large family for Thanksgiving/Christmas. A Christmas tree was set up for us. The kitchen was exactly what we needed to cook and feed a big crowed and there was lots of space for everyone to breath. It had everything and more. We had a lovely stay at the house, 10 adults and 2 young kids.

The property has absolutely beautiful views, and lots of space for our party of 10. We found there to be a lack of some expected items (toiletries, glassware) that the manager was able to resolve quickly. The shower in the primary bedroom had some drainage issues, but again, the manager was quickly able to respond. Surprisingly, there were no curtains or window dressings, so to avoid having the sun wake us at early morning, we had to apply temporary window coverings with painters tape for our stay. And the wifi was out for our final afternoon/evening which persisted through our checkout.
Lovely home with plenty of room. The listing is slightly inaccurate in listing four bedrooms on the main floor. There are three bedrooms and an alcove with a sofa bed. The alcove has no door. The back patio was lovely with outdoor seating and propane fire, hot tub and hammock. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere with an incredible view. The kitchen was beautiful but was missing some basics like foil, plastic wrap so folks should expect to pack these things. A really Very nice house and comfortable. The host was very responsive. I recommend this home for large family groups.
Amazing views. Very clean. Would be great to have a binder that centralizes all info such as check in/out instructions, where to find bedding, towels, toilet paper, how to operate electronics.
Items in the house coulde be a bit more organized. Such as tv remotes, remotes were scattered and we had to figure out which remote controls which tv.
Overall, we all had an amazing time. Thank you.
Gorgeous property but inside was not as advertised
This space offers spectacular views and enough space to host a party. However everything else is seriously lacking… the house on first glance is spectacular but is incredibly under stocked and just missing the warmth and love of a well cared for home. Be warned there is one less queen bed then what is advertised so we had to break out the air mattress which isn’t ideal for adults with bad backs… the house has enough supplies (plates, glassware etc) to comfortably host about 6 people. Bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and knives (not kidding). Hot tub needs a serious scrub. The water was clean but the jets have tentacles growing out of them. Internet doesn’t work so none of the homes smart features work and we had to hotspot to use the tv but there are DVDs available. The sprinklers go off a couple times a day so the side lawn is practically a swamp…
My family along with my parents, brother and nephews all stayed at David's beautiful home so we could all be together to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. It was exactly what we all needed and wanted! The house is situated off the beaten path, it was so quiet and serene, the views from the deck were spectacular! We witnessed beautiful sunsets every night.
The home was very clean, and even with 11 people staying there, we still had so much room. David had all the pots, pans and utensils we needed. He even had an air fryer along with a variety of spices, oils, etc. Top of the line Wolf stove range - the house was very tastefully designed.
My family is already talking about coming back here again next year.
I'd also like to mention that David was an excellent host, he responded to my messages almost immediately!
The only downside to this trip is that everyone in the family (including me) now wants steam showers, bidets, a hammock and a hot tub installed at home...
10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some quality R&R in style!!
Thanks again, David for a wonderful stay!
The highlights of the property were its size and amenities — it was large, recently renovated, with plenty of space, a decent gym, a hot tub, and beautiful views. These features were definitely appreciated and made the space comfortable for gathering. However, our overall experience was disappointing. The host was extremely unresponsive, especially after we raised concerns during our stay. One of the most frustrating issues was the inaccuracy of the listing. We had seen previous reviews suggesting the bedroom count might not be accurate, so we reached out to the host before booking to confirm the layout. He clearly stated there were six proper bedrooms. When we arrived, we found only five rooms total — and just four of them had beds. The fifth was a TV room with a pull-out sofa, which is not what we were led to expect. The host initially offered a one-night discount as compensation, but then stopped responding entirely. Our texts and calls have gone unanswered, even three days later. The WiFi was also not working when we arrived and took about 16 hours to get fixed. While we understand technical issues can occur, the lack of communication made the situation worse. The property is also quite remote, with very little to do in the surrounding area — something to keep in mind depending on what kind of trip you're planning.Overall, while the home itself has potential, our stay was soured by the misleading information, poor communication, and lack of support from the host.

Great house with lots of room and many positives, but ...
The house is great, large, mainly clean and can accommodate 4 couples in bedrooms. Views spectacular and overall a great place to stay.
Unfortunately my major concerns:
The house is advertised as a 5 bedroom- it is only has 4. There is an additional space with a sofa bed, but it has no door and offers no privacy. We went as 5 couples and it was important that each couple had their own space- this did not happen.
The hot tub was dirty and not working properly. The host did send out a repair person on Saturday morning, and he told us how to use the hot tub as it was very glitchy because the control panel was cracked (they are awaiting a new panel). The green slime was apparently due to the high iron content in the water and could not be avoided. An explanation of this would have been helpful as the green slime was really quite yucky.
There are many wonderful extras in the house, but no instructions on how to use them. There are also many, many remote controls dotted all over the house and we had no idea what they were for. One example was not being able to use the media room. We were excited about watching a big screen movie, but we could not get it to work without instructions.
An absolute must for this house would be a guest manual that would give instructions on where things are, how things work, etc. Also better communication would make this place much better.
Kitchen lovely (great stove) but disorganised and lacking supplies (eg. only 3 side plates for big group).
