One of the best rental properties i have been too. Including how clean it was. After renting numerous properties i am not surprised if i walk around in my socks and then i have to throw them away how dirty the floors are. This is not about this property. I was pleasantly surprised! Plus the house has a lot of character. Some of the chest of drawers outdated but they do have that character. Overall great stay ! Thank you!

Dock & Back Yard are great. Inside needs a lot of work

The ceiling is leaking and when we arrived the house was filthy. The kitchen and floors appeared as though they weren't cleaned at all after the previous tenant.

Perfect stay

Fun Lake Stay

We loved our stay at Lakeside. The back yard and dock are great, no steep stairs to climb to get there! They supply more goods than most houses. It was voted one of the best houses we’ve stayed in at SML.

Beautiful lake view

This home was the perfect get away for my young family. We loved how easy it was to get to the lake and dock. Docking our boat was simple. We enjoyed lounging on the dock and a few visits from the ice cream truck!

Family Getaway

Nice cozy four bedroom, but spacious. Property is in excellent location and the house was extremely clean. We really enjoyed this location and plan on staying again. This rental house is one of the best furnished rental homes that we have ever stayed in. Well stocked and supplied with all the comforts of home. Just pack your clothes and go!

SML vacation

The property is very clean. It is a great location on the lake with a beach area for kids. It is well stocked, even providing a canoe, paddle board and kayak! I would definitely stay there again. The inside steps are steep for the elderly but there is a bedroom on the main floor. The hosts have thought of everything a family might need!

Great Lake House!

We had a wonderful experience. We absolutely loved the house and dock! It was a quiet location and turned out to be the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Thank you for saving our vacation. We were bummed that we were unable to go to Charleston, SC due to the hurricane but this turned out to be an amazing trip even though it was a last minute plan!

Excellent property!

This property is one of the very best I have rented at SML. The fenced in backyard and easy access to the dock are especially nice if you have dogs, and don’t like to climb steep hills to get from the dock back to the house. The house is very nice, and well equipped with just about anything you need. Unlike most rentals, they actually supply paper towels, TP, soaps, and detergents. Sheets and towels are also included, and to my pleasant surprise-after a long drive, and shopping the first day, you find the beds are already made! Highly recommend this place!

Very comfortable for our family and doggies. One negative was hot tub which was frozen over because it had been left open and when we thawed it was only half full and not looking clean enough to use. Kitchen well equipped and comfortable beds awesome lake view

Great property with many amenities

The house is well situated on the lake with a really nice dock and lots of water toys. The kitchen was well equipped and the house stocked with essentials. My grandkids enjoyed the games and books. The two bedrooms on the top floor were a bit warm but there are fans in them. The air conditioning system failed twice. The property managers responded quickly and had it serviced within a few hours. We had a wonderful week!

Lakeside Lodge

We loved everything- although the house was extremely hot and the upstairs bedrooms were not comfortable due to the high heat. There were some items left in the oven so we just left them too- old pizza tray not washed and frig. handles had never been washed between rentals- but I scrubbed them up a bit. We really like airport road area so we hope to rent a different house in the same area next time.

Cabin on the lake

The location was perfect. Not a large hill to climb or stairs to the lake and dock like a lot of other properties. The house was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Towels are included. Only issues i can claim having was that a car came up to the house with property management (they said) and wanted to come inspect the house. We had just arrived back to the house after boating for a few hours. If we did not get home just then, these folks would have been inside the house where we had all our stuff out, thinking it is secured from strangers. They said someone did not check it off as a cleaned unit after the last guests, so i can see that. I cannot see someone coming up with two people and trying to get into the house. It felt a bit fishy. Also, the number of emails and texts are a bit much. Everything can be said with 2 or 3 emails and one or two texts. Even after the stay we are getting emails and texts bullying us to write a review among other things. I would stay again, but i would prefer to be left alone while i am on vacation. I dont need drop-bys and emails all the time. I am there to get away from that stuff.

Great beach

As advertised with the exception we felt the pictures may have been a bit misleading with the rooms. The stairs to upstairs were a little steap for half the party but we had a great time. Cute rustic cabin!

Best Sunsets

Our entire family enjoyed our stay. Everything was accurately listed, the house was very clean, and the yard was perfect for our furbaby. And did I mention the sunsets!??! Absolutely, beautiful!!!

2nd visit to SML

The house was perfect for our needs. The fenced in yard was key for our dog and the lower level family room with dart board and foosball was a hit for the kids. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for the 4 of us plus pup. Property manager responsive to some minor issues during the stay. Would definitely stay at the property again.

Good get away

Kitchen was fully equipped. Boat house had lots of activities.. Great flat yard for play. No extra trash bags, paper towels or toilet paper was annoying and front door didn’t lock, otherwise a great property.

We do send out that you need to bring more paper towels and toilet paper if you believe you would need more than 2 rolls per bathroom ( this is a 3 bath home , 6 rolls) over 3 days. Also yes we start you with one paper towel and there is one below the sink. Trash bags we do have 2 for 3 days- we do ask you bring some of these as well, in the event you may produce more trash in 3 days . This home does offer trash pick up with over 90 % of the homes do not at this lake . We do thank you for booking and wish you would have called us if you needed to know where grocery stores were to purchase anything or if you needed anything more . The front door does lock and you were the only ones with an issue, so please call next time we will gladly come over to show you the way the lock works. We are the only company that starts you with paper items as well, everyone else expects you to bring everything in. Thank you again for staying. Hope anyone else in the future will call us ! We do offer grocery shopping for a fee, to assist anyone.

Great time at the lake!

Great house with a wonderful dock! Just what we needed for a few days at the lake. We rented a boat and loved the private covered dock house. Great fire pit and hot tub! Great place for a family get a way.

Great location

Loved the location right on the lake. The boat house was used for lots more than getting on the boat. The bedrooms on all three floors provided lots of privacy for grandparents, parents & kids. We'll be back.
