Unwind on a serene getaway to our comfortable mid-century modern rambler and walk out to the lake. Ideally situated in Moneta. Approximately 10 minutes by water or land to most popular marina.

Tennis/pickleball/walkable neighborhood. Come visit during the spring, summer, vibrant fall and incredibly quiet winter seasons. Shorter stays welcome with a 2-night minimum during off season and discounts for weekly/longer stays.

It was a treat to stay here! It was even better than we expected. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty to do to keep us entertained. The decorating is adorable and all of the renovations they have done are top notch. The views are amazing too!

This was the cleanest, most well-furnished, and spacious house I've ever rented! The host was delightful, responsive, and accommodating. I cannot think of one criticism. The abundance and quality of nice touches and helpful items was beyond our expectations. All of this and a beautiful lake view made for a lovely vacation!

I can’t say enough good things about the house, the host, and the beautiful views! The house is spacious with lots of natural light on the main floor. It is well-equipped, with many thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. Our host was welcoming and available for any needs we had. The setting offered a peaceful atmosphere. Kayaks and life vests were provided, so we could explore the water right from the home. Highly recommended!

Janet, the host was very attentive to any of our questions and needs. For example; she brought pool sticks; (pool table), which were missing. Since she knew we were bringing our boat and the lake was currently 5' below normal, she sent pictures of the lake level and boat ramp. Even measured the water depth next to the dock where we would be docking the boat. While she was delivering the pool sticks we asked about where were the best fishing spots for stripe bass, what bait they were biting on and where to buy it. She didn't know but she immediately called her husband to find out. This is what I call going over and beyond. Thanks for our great stay Janet.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We primarily came to SML for fishing and use of the covered dock met your needs. The owners were great at communication and even assisted us by providing access to a battery charger for one of our boat batteries that went dead on us before we arrived. We were talking about coming back during a future visit as we were checking out.

Loved the house, it was clean, comfortable and the view of the lake to die for. We enjoyed the kayaks and tubeing on the river. The game room was wonderful, loved the flooring in the game room. My spot was sitting on the deck looking at the river catching up on reading. A restfull treat, we would love to return maybe next year. The host very pleasant and helpful. All in all 5star all around.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful Smith Mountain Lake home! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.The location is perfect—peaceful and private, with stunning lake views that we enjoyed every day, especially during sunrise and sunset. We loved spending time on the water, and the access to the lake made it so easy to swim, kayak, and just unwind. The outdoor spaces were a highlight, whether we were having coffee on the deck or gathering in the evenings to enjoy the scenery.Inside, the home was spacious and inviting, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook meals, and the living areas were cozy and perfect for spending time together after a day on the lake.The host was excellent—responsive, helpful, and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the property. Everything from booking to check-out was seamless.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality lake getaway.
