Whitefish bayfront- beautiful inside and out

Large, spacious home with beautiful views of Lake Superior. Large, partially fenced yard with lots of lake frontage, bordered on one side by a creek, and with a sandy beach. Lots of sitting areas, big, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, cement patio, picnic table, outdoor furniture, and grill. Ready to be a home away from home.
Large screen TV, wifi, DVD player with DVDs, board games, and books, and printer to keep the family entertained. Kitchen has all of the essentials, plus. Pots, pans, toaster, coffeemaker, teapot, air fryer, electric skillet, and some basic pantry essentials such as olive oil, spices, baking essentials, etc.
Two car garage for your use. Outdoor games (croquet, ladderball, some beach stuff,) available for use in lean-to.
House has wired-in generator.

ABSOLUTELY no use of the wood burning stove. There are two furnaces that regulate the house. This is a non-negotiable per the insurance company.
There is one cabinet and one closet that are labeled owner use only.
Garage is accessible by keypad code. Please know you may need to hand shovel a bit in the winter to access it as the plow service doesn’t shovel

This was a first time family vacation. The house was perfect fir our multi afe group. Very impressed with how well the house was stocked. Loved that they also had items for dogs. One of the best houses I have been to!! My family loved all the games and informative books that was provided. The front room was my favorite, so comfy!!!

Fantastic house on Lake Superior

This was the best VRBO experience we have ever had! The house was beautiful, equipped with everything you could want. The location, Lake Superior lakefront, was spectacular. The host was kind and responsive. If this house is a little over your budget and you can swing it -- do it! You will not be disappointed. We will be back -- and we drove 1500 miles to get there.

Relax in Paradise

There’s no stepping over people with all the room and two full baths! Kitchen stocked with everything. Heather checked in to make sure everything was going well. Hope to be back!

Best House Ever!!!

This beautiful home in Paradise, Michigan is truly paradise. The house was perfect for our stay. Everything was exactly as stated by the owner. We loved the little extra things the owner had left there for our enjoyment. The setting with Lake Superior in your front yard was the perfect way to begin or end your day! Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely rent again if available .

True Paradise

I could not be more pleased than I am with my stay. The house was awesome. There was so much room and the views are outstanding! I felt completely at home. They have everything first class!!! Being in the house was amazing and restful! Being outside was a dream. The whole stay was what you dream about!!! I have rented house/cottages for fifteen years and none of them equaled this house and I stayed in some very nice places. I was sad to leave but happy for my experience there!

Cute home in the UP

This house was clean and well appointed and the views of Lake Superior were beautiful! It was just my husband and I on this trip but we could have easily had the whole family and then some. Everthing we needed and more was provided. We didn’t have our fur babies with us, but this home would easily and nicely accommodate dogs. The bed was comfortable and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Heather was easy to communicate with and I know she would have been quick to help if we would have had any issues. The use of the garage to park our car was a nice bonus. I will definitely look to rent this house again if we travel back to the area!

Whitefish Bayfront

Whitefish Bayfront is a lovely location with beautiful views. This is a very nice well appointed cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, basic staples and spices. We had difficulty finding the cottage as there were no address signs. The listing for this cottage did not mention that there is a triple bunk bed, since we were a group of 60 & 70 year olds this resulted in difficulty In having enough bed space. Overall we had a wonderful time at the cottage and would consider a return stay.

20th Anniversary

We fully enjoyed the place,we love waking up to the sunrises every morning with each one different every day. The weather was amazing and we totality relaxed...we did manage to hit up a few golf courses,Wild Bluff and Newberry County Club,both excellent courses. I highly recommend the Tahquamenon Falls store and order the pizza,one of the best we have ever eaten! Our host was vwry kind and quickly answered any questions we had on any issues. We plan on returning next year. Thank you, for opening up our beautiful home on the lake. Rob,Lisa and Flapjack

Bayside haven

This was a great choice for us. We were here for bird watching but have our canine kids with us as well and this was wonderful for them. Spacious fenced in yard was amazing. House had everything we needed. The views are spectacular and the house had all we needed. One minor utensil had gone missing between our stay and some previous stay but that didn’t impact us at all. Heather and Aaron could not have been better to communicate with and to help with information and arrangements. There house was so well set up for the dogs as well. Really appreciated the effort into making this accommodating.

Wonderful Getaway

This was a great family getaway for my birthday. The views were amazing; we even got to spy some northern lights there. The bedrooms and the whole house are very spacious, and there were 8 of us in total, and we never felt on top of each other. It really felt like a home away from home and I would happily stay there again. The heating system kept us cozy and warm and the sounds of Lake Superior lulled us to sleep each night. The only hiccup we had was the gas stations in Paradise were out of gas but we did find one on the way to Techqaminon Falls that had gas, so we weren't completely stranded (although if we were, it wouldn't have been a bad place to be stuck). This of course is no fault of the owners, just wanted other guests to know to maybe fill up prior to coming. The binder of options and places to go was equally helpful.

Cuisinart cookware provided by Heather & Aaron far superior to the usual offerings found in VRBOs. That they also provide spices, take home containers for leftovers, & other surprises was delightful.Lots of games, puzzles, etc to keep everyone entertained.

Wow - what a wonderful place for a getaway. It exceeded our expectations in many ways. The proximity to the lake was unbelievable. The views from first floor ‘lake room’ and from the master bedroom are awesome. And with the lake so close, we left a window open and slept to the sound of the waves lapping the shore. In the mornings, we sat on the beach and watched the sun rise over the lake. One afternoon (when the weather was unusually warm for October), we sat and read books on the beach (which was a little bigger than I imagined), and I took a swim in the lake. In the evenings, we sat by the fire pit and watched the moon and stars come out. The house felt like a home - clean, well stocked and comfortable at every turn. Nice big kitchen with everything we needed and a few extras. Great launching pad for hiking in and around Tahquamenon Falls State Park. We’ll be back.
