Peaceful retreat house

We were visiting the padre pio shrine while on retreat. His hosue was the perfect for 5 of us. Spacious, clean, peaceful.

Lovely House with Great Proximity to Bear Creek

We stayed at this house for the second time and love it. The size is perfect, the kitchen well stocked, and everything about it is comfortable and picturesque. We hope to be back next year!

Perfect get away!

Booked with friends and family due to the close proximity of a birthday party. Amazing farm house that is very nicely redone. The property had very nice amenities and the host was great! We definitely recommend this property and will most definitely book this property again. Great stay!

Our stay was wonderful, the house is beautiful. We enjoyed spending the evening around the fire pit by the pool. The space at the house gave us opportunity to visit with extended family that live in the area.

Love it here!

This is our favorite place to stay when visiting family! Such a comfortable, well-equipped home on gorgeous property. Plenty of room for our teens to retreat and find privacy. We use every corner of this home and especially love the kitchen, sunroom, mud room, basement and two fireplaces. We still haven’t had the opportunity to come during warm weather, but the pool always looks like it would be amazing.

The little things really made this place awesome

The property was just as described, and the owner went above and beyond by leaving some snacks on the counter for us and chocolates on all the beds. Family Easter Weekend

Perfect getaway

I must say that this vacation stay was everything my husband and I could have hoped for. The house was perfectly clean, with an updated look. The hosts were so kind in their attention to detail. We found folded towels on the ends of our beds, cold drinks in the fridge, snacks laid out on the dining room table, and wood set out in the fire pit. The pool area is beautiful, and we enjoyed just sitting around enjoying the view of the beautiful, secluded property as we were serenaded by the wildlife in the area, which includes an incredible variety of blue jays, cardinals, and other beautiful birds. It was like being on our own little island for 3 days. John responded immediate to each of our inquiries, big or small. And if I to point out one thing I’d like to have it would be the weather -

Another great stay here. My family loves the home and property and enjoys the peaceful seclusion during our time here. The kids love playing in the pool and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby when you get hungry, but the home is also well stocked with equipment to cook a meal for when you don't feel like going out.

Great getaway

The property was absolutely gorgeous - both inside and outside spaces were perfect for spending quality time. The kitchen was ridiculously well stocked, having everything that we needed throughout our stay. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Great Outdoor Area

We spent a long weekend at the property and had a great time. The pool was clean and inviting. The area around the pool with the fire pit was well maintained and really fun. The string lights over the pool were a great addition. The kitchen was spacious and we ate most of our meals at the island.

Wonderful house in a peaceful area

We loved the house, the pool and the area. The house was well stocked and the kids really appreciated the provided snacks. We enjoyed having our coffee in the morning on the wraparound porch and listening to the rain and nature. The kids couldn't get enough of the pool and the ample and varied seating around the pool was great for us adults as well. We definitely recommend this house to others.

Pottstown Rumble

We were in town for the Pottstown Rumble volleyball tournament. The house was about 20 minutes away from the site which was perfectly fine for us. It was extremely hot during our stay and the pool was perfect for the day off when we didn't play in the tournament. The house was very comfortable, quiet, and everything we needed for our visit to the area. Thanks for opening your house to our group.

Great house for a family

The house was ideal for our family to participate in a wedding at the Bally Spring Inn, very close by. Property manager made it easy for us to arrive a bit early to prepare for our event. A few special amenities were provided and all proceeded smoothly. Basement can be cold at this time of year. A space heater would be recommended, perhaps.

Ideal getaway

The home is large enough to comfortably accommodate a large group with 4 levels. It has an open concept main level with a large kitchen, dining room & all season bright relaxation area with plenty of outdoor views. There is a pol in the rear which has complete privacy. At the front of the home there is a porch where you can comfortably relax with a morning coffee. Apart from the comforts of the home, it is set well off the road giving a feeling of seclusion, surrounded by trees. After a few days you feel completely relaxed, and refreshed. This was an ideal getaway from the busy lives we all live. Thanks to John & Deb for the listing, and sharing a magical home and setting that is definitely unique.

Great place for a relaxing vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and yard space provided plenty of space for kids to play. All of the seating outdoors made it comfortable for adults to relax and keep an eye on everything. The house was clean and bright and had everything we needed. We appreciated the small touches from John and Deb to make settling in easy.

Great home!

Super clean and comfortable home. It was perfect for a long weekend and about a 10/15 minute drive to Bear Creek. The beds were comfortable, the 3rd floor offered a quiet retreat. The lower level had a tv, but we never turned it on as we spent time together catching up. The pool is fantastic- and everything was perfect. Great kitchen and outdoor grill. Very happy with our rental and the hosts was super helpful and responsive to any questions. We can’t wait to come back.

beautiful home in lovely setting

beautiful clean home and property nice to walk ourside in large field. pool and sliding board could not be cleaner. can sit on porch in morning with coffee and watch the deer. only minus was rain storms but didn't last long. hoping to return next year to enjoy again.
