Walk to downtown Waynesville! Our home is charming and inviting with a true historical feel; surrounded by 100 + year old maple trees. While at home you can sit on the wrap-around porch and feel like you are miles out in the country. Within 5 to 10 minutes you can walk to all the shops, breweries and restaurants. The rooms have been decorated beautifully and comfortably for your relaxation. The wrap-around porch is such a serene spot to sit, talk and enjoy a nice glass of wine.

Wonderful family home

We had a wonderful week's long stay at this property, ages from teenager to grandparents. It is evident how much this home has been loved through the years. It is charming, but updated in the right ways for guest comfort. The home is nicely located close to town. We took advantage of the short walk on several occasions. The home is large with ample gathering space. The check in process is easy and Wanda is very accessible for questions. We especially enjoyed the large front porch with plenty of seating for everyone. We very much enjoyed our stay at this very sweet home.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We loved this beautiful historic home! It is walking distance to the downtown area of Waynesville, and close to all the things we wanted to do. Plenty of room for 8 and could have even accommodated more comfortably. Wonderful stay!

Old Farmhouse close to downtown Waynesville

Quaint, roomy, comfortable home. Great front porch. Owner very available and helpful. 10 minute walk to downtown. Hope to stay again.

Annual brothers and sisters vacation

This place is like being back in time! Absolutely beautiful old farmhouse with feel at home style. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching the squirrels and chipmunks playing around. The outdoor space with fire pit was very nice and relaxing. We hope to come back here again. Charlie is a very sweet lady and met all our needs, you will enjoy her! Thanks again Charlie for allowing us to vacation at your place!!

I was raised in Haywood County and most of my family still resides here. I moved to Texas for twenty years, but moved back home in 1999. I loved Texas, but could never get the feeling of these mountains out of my blood. For me there is nothing like hiking or taking a ride in these beautiful Smoky Mountains.

Why they chose this property

This property is so unique and warm. It has over 100 years of history. The woodwork throughout was created by the original owner and conveys the love he felt for the house. Decorated in a tasteful, yet welcoming style. Visitors are taken back to an easier time and to their childhood memories. It is a wonderful place to make family memories. Its a true find.

What makes this property unique

The large wraparound porch is a great spot to sit and talk with your family and friends; while enjoying a cold glass of tea or nice glass of wine. If you like to shop you are only minutes from some of the greatest shopping in WNC......Waynesville also hosts some of the best award winning restaurants and breweries.
